My shop uses this product everyday without fail. It has great consistency and is perfect for the in between stages of standard body filler and glazing spot putty. It also makes for a good mixing agent when the body filler you have is of poor quality, mix a little putty cote with it and it will reduce pinholes and will smooth the texture.
Just bought a can at Bond Auto parts. Must of been on the shelf a long time. I had to use a power drill with a bent spike to mix the liquid that was at the top of the can when open. Mixed up very hard. Had to use a scraper to get the hard putty off the bottom of the can. When mix with the hardener I had a very hard time spreading and the pot life was very short in cold weather. I'm bringing the can back and getting a different brand at a different store. Hope you have better luck. If there is a shelf life on this product it should be on the can or removed from the shelf.
