I was really glad that we can find things like this. Where I live we have had encounter with Deer and other wildlife. However, since I have growing children, I'm also concerned about these large animals in front and back yyard. As well near our vehicles and garages. We have deer that come around our backyard and nibble on our bush. However since they are wild animals, we rather not have them there at all. Was very happy to receive this product as it will repel deers and rabits. I'm just happy about deer as they are large animals. Pros: Great Packaging,- came in tight box and taped. Warning Labels listed on back Controlling wildlife population and preventing property damage Would buy again for summer time as it's hard to control the deer population. Least we can do is to repel them.
These granules contain odiferous elements that most animals and likely many humans would not like. Petrason egg salads, cloves, garlic, and white pepper. I sprinkle this stuff around a bed in our yard where the rabbits like to hang out at 3:00 a.m. and munch on my decorative landscaping. I will include a photo of the rabbit caught on surveillance camera leaping away from the area where the deer and rabbit granules were applied!
This product does it's job. I live near a bayou with a lot of foliage, therefore I have a wide variety of animal visitors on my property. After applying this product around my home, I saw a noticable difference in the amount of unwelcomed animal tourist on my lawn. I definitely recommend this product. It is very affective and I hope it's affects are long lasting because it definitely makes a difference.
This 3 pound container of Bonide Go Away! Deer & Rabbit Repellent Granules has arrived a little late in the season to use. It is now winter, but I will definitely use it when the right season comes for gardening. Every year the rabbits decide to have their babies in my yard. And, unfortunately, my dogs are hunters and they kill the babies. Maybe if I use this container of Bonide Go Away Deer & Rabbit Repellent Granules around the perimeter, this won't happen next year. If you read the back of the container, it says that the unique blend of ingredients in this product causes a mild irritation to animal's nasal passages. When the animal touches, tastes or smells this product, this irritation triggers the natural instinct to escape/avoid and the animal simply leaves. This product provides a powerful scent/taste repellent that animals find unpleasant and irritating. This product does not harm the animal. It drives them away naturally. I'm really hoping this product works for me. It's extremely distressing to see all those baby rabbits die. What's great about this product is that it doesn't harm the animals. And it can also be used in areas where children and pets play. This product is biodegradable and will not harm lawns. gardens, flower beds or other desirable plants when used as directed. You can apply around homes, landscaping and other areas where deer or rabbits are undesirable.
I put this out. The granules are like sand or a little bigger. It took a week or so to start working. So far my plants have survived. Other animals have stayed away from my plants also.
I got this Go Away Deer and Rabbit Repellent for free in exchange for my honest opinion about it. I use this for my flowers and vegetable and fruits gardens and it keeps the rabbits away from destroying them. I recommend. I like that it does not harm my plants. I like that it doesn't harm my pets or grandchildren either if they get around it. Here is a couple pictures to show you. Thank you.
I'll be using these DEER & RABBIT GRANULES in the spring around my garden. I haven't been having problems with deer but the rabbits try to set up house in my garden. Last year I found a nest of four baby rabbits.
So far so good . Haven't seen any rabbits so far. Sprinkles around foundation to keep those cute little ones from getting under my house through the crawl space. I will say do not sniff this product. It made me very nauseous after sniffing it. It is all natural and has not bothered my dog but the smell was to much of for me. Glad to have found this safe and effective product. A little goes a long way.
So I applied these granules on two of my coleus' that were planted in different areas. One of them has survived, it's been a week and the other plant was eaten to the ground. It says to shake the powder liberally maybe I didn't put enough on. But I'm happy that one of my plants has survived.
I think it kept the deer and rabbits away...but it was hard to tell b/c of all the stray dogs and raccoons roaming my property. I hope the rains we're now having will wash away all of it. I live in the boondocks, so there are a lot of critters running around my house at night...not just deer. It seems these pellets offend their intended target...but they actually attract other varmints. Maybe good for more suburban areas.
