Most herbs I grow I use for cooking. But this one went to the bugs! I bought two, then added one more, in my butterfly garden for the black swallowtail butterfly. It lays eggs in parsley and a few others, like fern dill, and their caterpillars eat the leaves. I don't use these for cooking. It was perhaps a month after I planted the first two when I saw one caterpillar. Now that I've learned to recognize the eggs, I see them all the time, and I do see the butterfly swoop in. Unfortunately, we have hard rains here so not all the eggs make it. So it's a caterpillar here and there. Still it is a fairly carefree plant and it is a deep rich green color.
Plants arrived in great condition. I received them quickly and in great shape. They seem to be adapting to my herb garden well.
Arrived promptly and healthy. This is my 2nd year growing Bonnie's parsley and I can't tell you how much I used this...as a private chef, having a huge, healthy bunch of fresh parsley at hand was invaluable. I look forward to the same experience this year.

Packing for these plants is ingenious if the plant that's put into the plastic shell is viable which this one was. although buying plants online is more expensive than going to the Nursery, when you figure in your gas and time it's very worthwhile so long as the plant material set is as a represented.

Received Italian Oregano instead of Italian Flat Leaf Parsely. Plants shipped from out of state. Both plants were almost dead. Not sure if they will survive, but I am trying. Why were these plants not sent from a local store?
These plants arrive dead or half dead. They do not remotely resemble the photos!
The plants gave me NO parsley for my guests - I was serving Chicken Francese to them (it requires Lots of parsley 😞- we had it with NONE.
