The book is 'right on' with the basics of the Bible. So often I find myself double checking to see what a person has said in the sermon with the Book. It's everyday common language, or at least closer than any other Bible I have picked up. The only omission I have found is in regards to Elisha getting twice the blessing of Elijah. For some reason the author omitted that, doesn't make sense to me but sticks out like a sore thumb. Other than that it's all there and understandable
I would recommend this Bible for anyone struggling to make sense of Bible. It is written in everyday language and easy to understand and read.
