My 2 toddler boys loved this! The brush is perfect for transitioning from the soft bristle baby hair brushes, the bristles are rounded, not harsh in any way and perfect size for their smaller hands. The comb is also great because the long bristles are are rock hard, they bend with the shape of their head a little which I find great for my little boys who are just learning how to care for their own hair. and they just love the mirror! The side area is great for qutips, but also can hold 2 stand up toothbrushes or 1 stand up toothbrush and a tube of toddler toothpaste. I love that this set is teaching them to be more independent, and that it looks so darn cute on the bathroom counter! So far the quality seems to be great, and I don't have any doubts about how it will hold up to my 2 rough and tough boys
This product is so unique and fun for my kids! My 6 year old daughter loves brushing her hair and looking at the finished product in the little mirror. The texture of the brushes are perfect for her very fine, thin hair without the static after. They get the tangles out very easily without too much tugging and pulling. She loves putting her little hair pins and barrettes in the side cubby. I love the size of the whole product because it doesn't take up too much counter space and if I want to put it out of sight it fits easily into a small space in our cabinet. My 3 year old son even finds the comb fun to run through his hair like a big boy. It is perfect for all ages because the brushes are small enough to grip by a toddler but big enough that parents don't feel they are working with a doll brush. The large bristles make it very easy to clean hair out that breaks off. Works well on wet and dry hair. People comment on how cute and fun it looks!
We loved our little spiff set! My girls ages 2 & 5 have had so much fun already. The size is perfect for their little hands. My 2 yr old started brushing her own hair immediately and my 5 year old set up a hair salon for her barbies and dolls with it! The display looks adorable on their small table.
We absolutely love this product! With two girls and lots of hair to comb and style every day, this product is the perfect addition to any morning routine. My kids love looking in the mirror to see what I'm doing, and the mirror is pecdwvt die tiny hands to hold. I added some hair ties and bobby pins in the side try to quickly grab when I'm doing their hair. My 2 year old is obsessed with the combs in this set and it's the only brush she's ever really been ok with me using on her. Win! Definitely recommend this product for any mom! It can also serve as storage for their things as they get older!
My boys hate bathing! Honestly, they would live to just roll in mud all day and go straight to bed. I placed SPIFF right on he side of our bathtub and guess what? They love it. There are no small parts that I've noticed so when my one year old is chewing on it I feel fine with it. My three year old is having so much grin brushing and combing his and his brothers hair. My little one holds the mirror while his brother does his hair and it's wonderful. They went from screaming to get out of the bath to never wanting to leave. The quality of SPIFF is a solid plus. It's light enough for a baby and durable enough for a toddler. The colors are eyecatching and bright. The style is sleek and fun. Looks super cute in my bathroom and it's so EASY TO CLEAN!!! It's a winner all around and we love it.
After using this product for more than one month, I find some pros and cons as follows: Pros: cute like a toy so my 3 year old daughter is always brushing her hair, and she likes to put her hair clips in the little container provided Cons: the comb doesnt really untangle the hair; the mirror is kind of small to see the whole face
This set has been just what we needed to take the angst of our combing my daughter's hair after bath. She loves being able to help with her own comb and brush and then look at her "pretty hair" after she done. I love the little compartment for holding her hair rubber bands which used to be all over her bathroom drawer. My only wish is that the brush and comb teeth were just a little thinner.
My 3 y.o loves that this sits on her dresser where she can use it herself everyday. We own several Boon products and have been very impressed with the quality and design of them all. I love that the base is the same as the Grass and Lawn drying racks. The comb, brush, and mirror stand upright so easily on it, my daughter can put them back all by herself. The hair tools are the perfect size for little hands, and seem like they'd wipe clean easily. I think I would prefer different colors for the brush, comb, and mirror, but the colors provided are good gender neutral options. She loves using it and having her own little grooming station. Not only do I like using these on my son, but my son loves using them on himself. They are fun to use and to look at. The grass could have been smaller so it doesn't take up so much room, maybe a square shape. We would recommend and have recommended this product to friends.
We have loved the Boon Lawn for years and I was excited to see them use the same concept with this set! The brush and comb are a great size for little hands. I'd say the only drawback was my 4 year old tends to think of this more as a toy and the pieces can be hard to keep up with if she was playing with it! I would also like to see some other color options for the comb/mirror/brush!
