[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love this oven, have not used all of the features but it is nicely built and easy to use. Looks great in my kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven as part of our kitchen remodel, in order to get rid of a counter top microwave and have an extra small oven. I am thoroughly enjoying using it. The microwave, sensor cook, speed chef, and convection modes all work well. Love the pull down door feature.
We downsized for retirement and did a full remodel of a mobile home... from the foundation to the roof... with the Great Room/Kitchen combo being the center of the project. It took five months and we researched appliances until we were blue in the face. We did not have a lot of wall space and wanted an under the counter Microwave for the center island. After a lot of research we decided we definitely did not want a Microwave drawer. When we found this Speed Oven we really got excited about having a third Convection Oven and broiler. We imagined the device would be the one we used most for convenience. Now we have been in the new home for 2 months. We cannot believe how convenient and fast this oven is. It's large enough for almost any two person meal project and the combination of three cooking methods creates an amazing kitchen tool. It heats up much faster than our Pro Thermador Double oven because it is smaller of course. So we not only are saving time... we're saving energy and money. The 1000 watt microwave is fast, quiet, and the height under the counter is very convenient. We love the fold down door. It's easy to clean... and it's beautiful. What more could you ask for?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent!!! better impossible easy to use save space in small kitchen to use the bet of two oven convention and microwave , very good quality and works fast and perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven, along the 24" electric convection oven, represented a huge upgrade for us, replacing a countertop Neanderthal microwave that was loud and an oven that was about 40 years old. I didn't know it was possible to be so excited about an appliance. The oven is sleek, efficient and we love it; however, when I did the initial set-up and added the shelf so that we could use it as an oven, one of the pegs broke off (see attached). It was virtually impossible to identify from the drawings what the part number was and I couldn't see any part like it. Eventually I found what I thought was the correct part but I was sent a part that didn't even seem to go with the oven. It was a big disappointment to have this happen before I could even use it, and the shelf isn't really stable enough to cook on it with only three supports. So it is really only being used as a microwave (and a rather expensive one at that). I need to call Bosch and see if they can help me figure out what the part number is. Disappointing that the pegs are so flimsy. Guess one might need to have extras around the house. I look forward to being able to use all of its functions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 500 Series Speed Oven was the ideal solution to reclaiming valuable counter space in our modestly sized kitchen. Our mid-century galley style kitchen had a microwave oven taking up counter space next to the refrigerator. Also, the vintage cabinets in the kitchen require smaller 24” appliances. When it came time to replace our old GE double ovens the Bosch 500 Series Speed Oven gave us a built-in microwave and convection oven that fit perfectly into the old oven opening, freeing up about three square feet of counter space! The Speed Oven has a host of functions, comes with detailed instructions, and operates more quietly than the old microwave. We're very happy with our new Bosch 500 Series Speed Oven.
New unit!!!! The CLOCK button is installed with an upside down SETTINGS button!!! An expensive unit for a stupid mistake. Funny but not. $$$ How do you make this right?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to have this Speed Oven for our house remodel. The concept makes perfect sense, micro and a high end toaster oven all in one; and in the wall to boot. I purchased it a couple of years ago, prior to the pandemic; and with those delays we finally moved in, November 2021. In September 2022, the thing blew the circuit breaker, and continues to do so immediately after resetting the breaker. Of course no longer in warranty. It appears this is a common problem based upon other reviews. Please Help Bosch
two weeks after warranty ran out it started making a horrible 'ratching' sound as the turntable turned ... then the plastic gizmo that held the turntable broke - so no turning. My custom kitchen was designed around this 24" built-in appliance. No I'm stuck with having to buy another?
1) In 6 years of ownership, one of the door switches has melted 5 times, leaving char marks and melted plastic (see photo) and rendering the oven unusable. This time it failed two days before Thanksgiving. 2) Since we bought the oven, the turntable has randomly turned or not turned while cooking - not such a big deal in convection cooking, but microwaved items get scorched in one spot. 3) If we turn the oven temperature to 450 degrees, the oven often gives an error code and has to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset it. 4) The convection mode heats up barely faster, if at all, than our full-sized electric oven. 5) The microwave is not as powerful as I'd like. I miss our reliable 1200 watt countertop microwave (from another manufacturer).
