[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I changed all of my appliances to 800 series bosch. I'm thrilled with all of them. I'm really glad to have black matted stainless steel in my kitchen. It brightens my kitchen. Also, my fridge is counter-depth, but it has an ample amount of space inside the fridge. And it connects to the homeconnect app and I can control settings and it lets me know if the door is opened for a long period. I highly recommend bosch appliances.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tor out our kitchen two days befor C19 shutdown. It was a struggle but the Bosch items came in a little behin schedule, not as bad as we thought. The frig is a nice unit, the one we planned was obsoleted for this unit because they changed from 1compressor to do all to 2 compressors, 1 for cooling and 1 for the freezer. Very similar to the very expensive models from other manufacturers. So far all has been great. On another note Bosch, the range we bought should have the same size bruners in the back as are in the front. Just my 2 cents.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is as streamlined as possible for a French door model and looks great. The water dispenser is inside, which gives the front a clean look--I love it. The freezer has an almost hidden top drawer (3 in all) so I can stash foods I want to keep as a surprise from the rest of the family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn't be happier with our new Bosch refrigerator! We also purchased the Gas Range, Microwave and Dishwasher. So happy with them all. Well, except for the dishwasher which has not arrived yet due to the microchip shortage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted Bosch appliances in our new custom home at the lake and loved all the features and styling of the black stainless steel. Once we moved in, we discovered that the refrigerator and oven had Wi-Fi. I downloaded the app and it's been a real lifesaver having alerts to let us know if the door was ajar, for example.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this Refrigerator. The flexible layout allows lots and lots room for items. You can also see excatly whats in there, no moving things to see in th back. My family especailly loves the ice scooper accessory. My freinds have other Manufactures similar to this unit and ours is by far, the nicest. Connecting to Wifi was a little tricky, but figured it out. Instructions could be a little clearer. The freezer space works much better than I thought...with 3 drawers there is plenty of room for normal items...although a large turkey would take up the whole lower drawer. The finsh is very nice and does not leave fingerprints. Overall I'm so glad I purchased this unit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the dride for quite a few months now. I really like a few things, it's a bit more compact than our previous Samsung fridge so it doesn't stick out into the kitchen so far. I like the beep it puts out if the doors aren't completely closed - and the Home Connect app on my iPhone which notifies me as well. I do wish the double doors closed a bit easier so my wife (she has a hearing loss) wouldn't forget to close it completely. Ice maker is a huge improvement over our previous fridge and the water spicket inside the door gets used every day - awesome. We Installed new countertops in the kitchen and decided to update the appliances so they all match. We now have a Bosch fridge, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old refrigerator was shiny stainless and stuck out into the kitchen. This one is a beautiful matted gray-black with its edge at the countertop. Kit came with a special hinge plate that keeps the countertop top edge from hitting and marking the open door. Lost power after last week's hurricane for 21 hours, yet none of the ice cubes melted
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator! After years of dealing with malfunctioning Whirlpool appliances, I began transitioning to Bosch. It's a little pricey but well worth the extra money. Temperature Zones It's very well engineered with multiple zones to control temperatures, not like other "one temperature fits all" models. Bosch recognizes that different foods need different temps. My food is far more fresh and I haven't had to throw leftovers away like before. Lighting Opening the doors of my Bosch feels like the gates of heaven opening! I can almost hear the chorus of angels amidst the bright lights! I'll admit that I sometimes open the doors just to experience the thrill! Very well lit! Space There is so much space in this refrigerator that I can easily organize and find everything. No more searching for spoiled food that I can smell but not see. Lots of adjustable shelves and racks. Inside water and ice dispensers Not only do the interior dispensers make the outside of this refrigerator look sleek and clean, but it's much more sanitary than exterior models. The water and ice dispensers take no extra space from the unit because they are smartly placed. The ice tray in the freezer is huge and you even get a scoop! Freezer The bottom freezer is deceptively big! I use a food saver to vacuum seal my food before freezing now and I can easily stack lots of food items. There are several drawers that open in a layered fashion for easy access. Smart tech Aside from great temperature control, the units has an audible alarm that goes off if you leave the doors open. If you aren't close enough to hear, you can see the alert on your phone through the Bosch Home Connect App where you can monitor all of your Bosch smart appliances. Exterior I purchased the custom black matte refrigerator, which is really more of a dark charcoal grey. Unlike some other imposters, this unit really IS fingerprint free!!! I have yet to wipe I fingerprint off of the door or handle! As a bonus, this refrigerator is practically stealth it's so quiet! As you can see, there is a lot to love about the Bosch 800 Series refrigerator.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of things I like about this refrigerator. It's about the best you can find in a free-standing fridge, before stepping up to a built-in fridge that will cost 2-3x more. As a side note, I wish there were options between free-standing and built-in fridge price points. The interior design reminds me a lot of built-in refrigerator. Everything is easy to see and get to -- Bosch avoids using curvy or bulbous shapes, and instead uses clean flat surfaces throughout. There is a lot of transparent acryllic plastic and glass used, making everything easy to see. Most other fridges use a lot more white plastic, which hides contents and blocks light. The construction & most hardware is a step up, especially compared to Whirlpool and GE brands. The two crisper drawers use full extension, ball-bearing slides, rather than nylon wheels; this allows the drawers to open smoothly and fully. The freezer drawer is soft-closing and will draw itself closed, much like high-end Blum hardware on kitchen cabinets. I have the black stainless version, and the look is stunning. Many friends have commented on how nice the fridge looks. The finish is unusally bold, with a noticeable grain to the steel. It seems much more durable than other black stainless finishes. The color looks great with my cherry cabinets. I really love the clean look of the front of the fridge, without the distracting door dispenser and associated displays, lights and buttons. The minimalism aesthetic is well executed, and makes the fridge look premium. You never see built-in fridges with in-door ice/water dispensers, it cheapens the look. Again, I'm glad Bosch decided to emulate a built-in design. The last bit of built-in design that Bosch borrowed is the height. At 72 inches tall, it's only about 2-3 inches taller than most other fridges, but that extra few inches makes the fridge seem a lot more spacious, and from the outside it looks more substantial. The cripser drawers and the included ethylene filter (part of the "Farm Fresh" system) do seem to keep produce noticeably fresher for longer. I like that the two drawers can be set indivdually for temperature. The deli drawer is not adjustable, but I found it keeps the environment at a suitable temperature and humidity for meats and cheeses. The only real design miss is in the French door hinges. As many other reviews have stated, the right door does not close easily on its own, because it needs a extra little push for the mullion flap to flip to the closed position. I'm really surprised that Bosch messed this up, considering they have powered door closer motors on their high end Thermador line, so clearly they know how to over-design a door hinge. This flaw is the reason I knocked one star off my review. I hope Bosch will address this in an update to this product. My previous fridge had an in-door ice and water dispenser, and although I miss the conveniece, the truth is that the interior ice and water dispenser is far superior. The ice machine can make and hold a fantastic amount of ice, and it does so very quickly. I've found it can completely fill the ice drawer in about 48 hours. That wasn't the case with my previous fridge -- with its compact space saver icemaker in the door, it barely could keep up with a family of two. It's a minor detail, but even the included ice scoop is well-designed. The pyramid-shaped ice produced by the ice maker is aesthetically more pleasing than the crescent-shape produced by most other manufacturer's designs. This fridge is unbelievably quiet - I have yet to hear the compressors or fans running under any conditions. Actually, I haven't heard anything at all from this fridge, with the exception of a fresh batch of ice dropping into the bin. Bosch did an amazing job with controlling noise. Despite the lack of noise, this fridge does very well keeping the contents cold, and I've not noticed any fluctuations in temperature. The dual compressor design (this is the only free-standing fridge with dual compressors) is likely to thank for its strong yet quiet performance. I really hope this refrigerator holds up. The initial design impresses, but hopefully Bosch was equally thoughful in the design & robustness of the sealed system and other mechanical parts. The included warranty is just OK (1 year full warranty, 5 year parts-only warranty), and the extended warranty, which really just extends the labor warranty, is quite expensive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Bosch refrigerator, based on my experience so far.
