Absolutely love our new gas cooktop. We completely remodeled our kitchen and put in the 800 series gas cooktop. Looks so nice and cooks fast. We purchased all Bosch!! Cooktop, vent hood, refrigerator, speedoven, and dishwasher. Highly recommend.

Some of the cooktops just look like cooking grates that stick up high, these grates are slightly recessed and it gives you an industrial, sleek look. We where attracted to a Thermador and found out Bosch is the same parent company but at a much less expensive price, looks high end. The burners all have great control and the middle burner will boil a big pot of water quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Width of insert is 1/4 inch shorter than indicated on product details causing some challenge with installing the stovetop. The burner knobs are solid constrution with an easy to see position indicator as you adjust the gas flow. The ignighters efficiently turns on the cooking flame and the knobs move easily to make sight adjustments to the flame level or easily turn off the flame/gas. Knobs are easy to grasp, spacing between the knobs is sufficient for cleaning the area, and this design is spacious from the burners so the knobs do not get warm from the heat of the flames. I also appreciate the spacious distance of the knobs from the edge of the cooktop. A negative feature is the dificulty to clean-off any cooked on oil-spatter from the chrome circular plate/washer on each burner.
After 2 year with it. I only wash it with soap and water and a sponge. Cause I don't want any scratches. Now is full of scratches and weird water stains like. One of the symbols is gone. I guess is more like a sticker. See pics. I always wanted a Bosch brand cooktop and now I hate it.
After less then a year the BOSCH name and burner indicators have rubbed off. Very poor application of essential branding and indicators.
Ofter first year I bought a bush cooktop all printed Bush logos got pails. And also nobs colors changed. I don't thinks so it's real German made bush .it's not comparable with other bush product i already have in same kitchen like electric combo oven. Gas burner Cooktop is very low quality.
