[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had no issues and like the dual burners and warm spot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moved into new construction home 6 years ago with Sam junk appliances. Bought a new Bosch dishwasher last year love it.! This year we bought the Bosch 800 series range, great features! Performing just as I suspected, next year fridge! So I can take temporary ice machine off my counter since it doesn't work in my current fridge. Highly recomend Bosch appliances
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit feels heavy and sturdy. The metal knobs are such a pleasure to use compared to my old plastic ones. The black stainless steel finish is amazing! No fingerprints and it just feels like a nice heavy metal that doesn't easily scratch. Great difference from the basic stainless that is hard to maintain. There are many great features that I am still exploring. The oven heats up quickly and the burners on top boil faster way faster than my old unit. The warming drawer is a great bonus and will be used regularly. Installation took a little patience and time to get it at the exact right level but it blends in with my countertop and looks great! You definitely get what you pay for with Bosch. This is 1 of 4 appliances I plan to switch out to Bosch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2011, I bought a full kitchen suite of appliances - I wanted Bosch, but their electric slide-in was very utilitarian and paled in comparison to the stunning Jenn-Air stove that had much higher-quality features, knobs and finishes... so I bought the Jenn-Air. However, 11 years later, Bosch has addressed the issues - they have improved the styling and the stove knobs are now cast-metal, as they should be (they were flimsy plastic in 2011). I was very pleased and included this stove in my full Bosch suite - my only complaint is that the stove has very little adjustment-range in height. Please see photo - I was surprised the stove sits far to high above my counter-tops, and I cannot lower the range any further... If I could lower it just an inch, it would be perfect... However, it is the fault of the builder, who didn't do the counters at the standard height, so I can't hold that against Bosch. (There are only a few stoves made to sit a little lower, and they are not of this quality.) I splurged and got the convection version - so it has the capability. Great stove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still new to me so haven't used much, control panel is very user friendly. Love that there are 3 racks and an extra warming spot on top. Surprised that it doesn't come with a broiler pan - not really a big deal. I'm looking forward to using this !
took 3 months for delivery and when arrived it had bent side panel. I decided to straighten since I can't go another 3 months without oven. my previous kenmore elite was so much easier to level and slide in place. Bosch needs to be leveled turning each foot independently and cant be adjsuted when slid in place so this took some time and more difficult to slide in as there are no casters and you have to drag it into place. Display is not the brightest and timer alarms are very low, could barely here it, previous Kenmore could be heard across the house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We very much like the tools that we owe that are a Bosch product - decided to try a Bosch Stove. Have only had a few days but are looking forward to many years of cooking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced a 20 year old Jenn-Air downdraft electric range with the Bosch 800 Series Electric Slide-In. Mostly AWESOME...But...the electric control panel is HYPER SENSITIVE. I'm convinced it will activate by sight, which is not a good thing. We've taken to locking the panel when not in use, possibly a minor issue...but a bit of a pain. The smaller back burners seem further back and harder to reach than our previous range as well. As with nearly any glass top range on the planet, the cooktop is a bit of a bear to keep clean as well. Good news? Preheats quickly, cook temperature is what it says it is, more features than we've used so far, and seriously...it's kind of sexy in it's black stainless ensemble.
This is more a question/concern and awareness for 800 series range owners; Had unit for 1.5 years, a week ago, bake, broil, all those functions would come on for a second or 2, then shutoff. I found the black wire of both legs coming in completely burnt and arced, the red one was fine, white nuetral wire fine. the wires lugged to that connector barely hanging on, hence the intermittent contact being made. I repaired all wires, everything good now, but I noticed all relays on mother board "sparking" or clicking internally, I can see a blue spark inside the relay as the stove heats up. Also, when 325 preheat is selected it reverts to 300 degrees, not sure why. I did have a lightning storm the night before but no other appliance effected. Anyone else see anything else like this? Yes, all connections were tight, no loose conn to create an arcing... this is info to see if its the oven or my wiring got screwed up somehow. It did not trip the cb...
We bought this a year and a half ago , we are a family of 4 use the stove every day baking almost 3 times to 4 times a week . I'm attaching my photos I need your judgment..
