Wow! My first new electric cooktop in 24 years. I am so excited with all the new features this cooktop has. I'm still exploring what it can do since it was only installed 3 days ago. Some of the great features I've tried are the many temperature setting ( 0 - 9 with 1/2 settings in between each numbered setting) ; the burner with 3 multiple rings for various size pans and a 2 ring burner too; melt temperature for melting butter without fear of it burning; power start for quickly bringing a pot to the temperature I want it to cook at; and the keep warm setting so all the food gets served warm. I still have to experiment with Auto Chef and the timers and the wonderful bridge burner feature. I love the fact there are no knobs to work around or to get dirty. This new model is a wonderful addition to my kitchen and I know I will be exploring it's features for weeks to come.
The cook top has a clean look but also has great features. Good response on touch controls, and it's not too sensitive.
I bought this cooktop a month ago and it is fantastic. It has some wonderful features such as the Autocook, panel lock, kitchen timer, cook timer and count up timer. Also I like the additional cooking feature which allows you to cook based on the size pan you are using. I would highly recommend this cooktop.
We purchased our new Benchmark cooktop in November 2017. It's been truly amazing. The features on this cooktop, especially the Power Start feature, continues to impress us. It's very easy to clean (no buttons or knobs), heats quickly, and maintains a consistent temperature throughout the cooking process.
I purchased this stovetop about a month ago. It works wonderfully. I love the power start feature. Also, the controls are very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two years of use, the on/off touch pad works only very intermittently. Will require a service call.
Like the stove, when you can turn it on
The power on off does not work, it is damaged the glass. The glass costs almost the same as a new one. I had to buy a new one I was happy with the cooktop
My cooktop was delivered 11/11/17. In the past 2 months it has become increasingly difficult to turn the cooktop on. We have resorted to flipping the breaker, waiting 10 minutes and attempting to turn it on. We have resorted to warming our finger in hot water and placing it on the on/off switch. That worked for awhile. Today, nothing seems to work and I am having a dinner party, or not, because I need 2 burners at least on my stove. It is Sat. and I will call and schedule a service call. This sucks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in March 2107 for last three weeks the on off sensor works only when it is inclined to do so. Out of warranty so it would appear I amgoing to have to replace the unit very disappointing. Last Bosch i can justify. There ought to be a recall. JTC sept 23 2019
