[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After listening for a while, the sound is just top notch! The quality of it, crisp, with enough bass and mids that balance perfectly with the voice. If there is a word to describe this it would be: Natural. I´ve tested several headphones now, and as you may know, Bose brand is not a budget one but there is a reason for that and the Bose Soundlink II are the perfect example for that. The built quality, in this case, is not as premium as some other higher ranked headphones, but yes, they are worth every penny!! The downside for many people is that these are not ANC like the more expensive Quietcomfort Line, which would have make these perfect! But after testing them and listening to them, soon I realized that no ANC is needed. You can still enjoy music, listen to calls and deliver a good call quality when required without worrying about picking up ambient noises. In other words, no ANC is needed with the Soundlink II. Ear sweat or wearing fatigue is not an issue either. This device is so lightweight and well designed that sometimes I just forget that I have them on.

Mine get thrown around, dropped, bent and still function as if I just opened them out of the box. The outside is pretty scratch proof which comes in very handy. They have much much much flex and bend ability so breaking these is very hard. WILL BUY MORE.
Compared these to Apple/Beats Solo Wireless and these are so much better. OK, what do I mean? They are lighter and therefore more comfortable ... can wear them all day long. The Beats are louder but if you play music with strong base, the Bose distorts low notes, but the Bose set balances with mid-tones and high-notes. The battery are off the hook - two weeks and no charging with still 20% left. I'm also told the talking on the phone is clear too! Bose is Bose, and they make top-notch electronics to mimic music with total fidelity!

was looking for a pair of headphones, tried the soundlink OE for few days, it's really comfort, still after hours of wearing I feel a little compressed on my glasses (without glasses I would say it's perfect OE headphones), then I saw the release of this around-ear model !! the cusions are really soft and comfort even with glasses, and the sound quality is very great!! At first I thought the NFC is unnecessary and probably will only use it once; in fact when you have multiple devices with NFC it's the fastest way to link/unlink the device, really enjoyed it!!
I received this Tuesday. Tuesday is my walk-home-day. It was such a good time to test this out while I walked home from work. It is about 3 mile walk which takes about 1.25 hours. There was no discomfort what-so-ever on my ears or my head. The sound was pretty clear with blocking some of the traffic noise from my surrounding. With trust in this company, I really believe I made a right choice to purchase this. Hopefully I can keep this for a long time.
These were a birthday gift from my family. While i love the headphones because of the sound and comfort, I also hate them because of the issues with audio cable and the wierd trim piece that is all jacked up from being in the case. I only used the audio cable when connecting to my PS4 controller, and then all the sudden it no longer worked. Ordered a new cable and still can't use as a mic with the PS4 controller.
I've had this pair for a little more than one and a half years now. They've been in the protective case when not using them and during the ownership, they were used lightly. Have owned different Bose products for 9+ years and is extremely disappointed to see these fall apart and break like this. In the images, the blue rubber has started to loosen, it's clear that there is more material than what fits around the headphone, consequently putting stress and resulting in the material breaking as seen in the images.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Headphones bought two years ago. The sound is satisfying, comparable with beats headphones. The sitting around ears is very comfortable. It's easy to use, but could have a feature to choose next/previous song. THE DURABILITY IS VERY POOR & UNSATISFYING! After one year of normal use (2-3hs/week), always storing the headphones in its case, not using in extreme hot, cold or wet environments, not using for running or workout, material started to show first appearance of wear and tear. In almost every part of the headphones the material wears down. The fabric rips a part, color is vanishing, the rubber is falling of. I was patient, but after two years the result is completely unsatisfying and unacceptable for a BOSE product. The pictures talk for themselves. I'm very disappointed by the headphones, as BOSE cannot meet its quality criteria which it normally stands for
This is my first set of Bose headphone, or Bose anything. I expected a lot more from all the hype. Pairing and installing software when I first set them up was a bit cumbersome. They fit well, a little bulky but ok. I wish I would have got noise cancelling instead, as I can hear everything around me outside the headphones very clearly. And now I've had them just barely over a year, and the volume up button no longer works on my computer or phone when connected via bluetooth, and they are out of warranty already. So overall, for the money and reputation, not impressed and will probably go with a different brand when I get new headphones soon - which is ultimately why I gave these only 1 star.
