I've got to say, these speakers are seriously impressive. They may not have the same power as other top brands, but the sound quality is great and they look awesome. The red blinking eyes that sync with the music are a cool touch. If you're into skulls, you'll love these speakers. They perform on par with stock door speakers, maybe even a bit better in terms of handling power.
I purchased these speakers for the highs in my 2013 Sportage's rear hatch. They are in separate boxes and deliver powerful sound, especially when paired with two 12-inch Kickers. The quality is great for the price, although I need to tighten the face plates occasionally. Overall, they provide a surround sound experience with impressive bass.
The speakers I have are very cool and handle every watt from my Kenwood head unit without distortion. I have a set of 3-way 6x9s and 6.5" 3-ways paired with the Desert Eagle S900.4, set at just below half gain on the full range setting. They rock my Jeep Cherokee and sound great with clear audio. I recently updated my review to mention that I bought 4 of these speakers (2 6x9 3-ways and 2 6.5 3-ways) and have 100 watts RMS running to each. They sound amazing for mids and highs, handling the power well with clear sound. I believe they are a great buy for the cost and would purchase them again. Money well spent, and the skulls design is awesome!
The speaker is as loud as my factory Volvo speakers, which is fine. I mainly bought it for the light-up eyes to add more lights in my car. It is a great product, clear, but I wish I had bought the 6" size. The speakers fit in my back, but I didn't realize at the time that my car had non-standard factory speakers that made them look like they were only 5".
I made a boom box using an ammo can and these speakers were perfect for the look I wanted. The sound quality exceeded my expectations for speakers under $20. If you want high sound quality, consider other options. But for a cool-looking speaker, these are great.
The LED lights were difficult to get working, but I managed to make one work with some effort. They are not very bright unless the volume is high. Considering returning them. However, the speakers have held up well despite heavy use throughout the year. I was initially hesitant due to Boss's reputation, but these speakers have been reliable.
