I LOVE this product! It works just like dryer sheets (possibly better) only I don't have to worry about trying to find the dryer sheet to throw out. I've been using this product since it first came out and I don't know if they last as long as they say, but I do A LOT of laundry..daily. One thing though, you can't put things like shoes or something that's going to hit it, otherwise it will break apart, leaving balls of the bar in your laundry. I learned that the hard way, but that was my fault. As far as what others said about lint being collected on the bar, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, but I haven't noticed a change in performance either way.
I would keep on getting this dont have to worry about dryewr sheets and it makes clothes smell wonderful
I do about 4 loads of laundry a day because my 4 kids like to throw their clean clothes on the floor from their drawers. So I do a lot more laundry than most people. I have had this bar in my new Samsung dryer for over 2 months and is just now wearing out. I expected it to last 1-month or less, but this bar has exceeded my expectations. I was expecting the bar to begin to disintegrate in my dryer but the bar has held up well. I would have expected static cling, but no static cling. At first the laundry didn't have a really strong scent, but after a few washes the clothes came out smelling great, maybe the bar needs a little break-in. So over all, I have a great product that smells great, no static cling, and I don't have to add a dryer towel every load. My dryer works well and is very hot on the high cycle, the bar still works very well on the medium heat as well. I would bet that if someones element isn't working well, this product might not work well for them, but then again neither is their dryer. I give this product 5-6 stars as it works perfectly for me.
i bought the bar because it was cheaper then sheets and figured why not give it a shot. it works so much better then any dryer sheet i've tried. we have a lot of fleece blankets and clothing (especially my 4 yr old son) and even with using liquid fabric softner in the washer i usually have to put in at least 1 dryer sheet per fleece item plus a couple extra and my poor little guy was still getting shocked. ever since i put the bar in my dryer i dont have to use any sheets, the smell is so wonderful and lasts so long i can still smell it on the pillows that i washed 3 weeks ago, and my family is no longer suffering the static shocks of winter! i do at least 1 load of laundry a day (usually more) and after 3 weeks it looks like its almost half gone so even with heavy use i may get 2 months out of it.. but even if it only lasted a month it would be a better value then the sheets which costs more for 1 box and that only lasted me about a week and still left all the fleece blankets, pj's and clothing with static!
I bought this in that it was cheaper than a box of dryers sheets. Works well leaves a great smell and no worry about dryer sheets with this. For me it lasted a little over 2 months. These make one of the daily processes simplier and less hassle. Even went and bought one for a family member that uses them now.
I saw this product when it first came out, but was somewhat skeptical of it. I thought I would give it a try and have been very satisfied with it. I no longer have to take that extra step of going and getting a dryer sheet, nor do I find dryer sheets up the legs of my pants or stuck to my underwear. Same great smell of the regular Bounce Dryer Sheets. Will be a Bounce Bar user for a long time!
I love the Bounce Bar, I just bought four more and put them up for future use. I don't have to worry about forgetting to put in a dryer sheet, and my clothes just smell wonderful, if you are having a problem with your Bar please examine the way you attached it to your dryer. This product gets a 10 star approval from me.
I love this product. It did have a problem of sliding out or the tape coming off but just bought some two sided tape and put it back and its been there ever since and just replaced it with a new one and had never had it done that ever since. It does make the laudry smell great even when using a cheaper detergent in the wash.
I bought a 2 month bar. I wanted to see if it worked. It seems to work good for me. I don't use dryer sheets now but I always put downy in my load of clothes before I wash them. I don't think it lasted 2 months though but I do wash a lot.
Both pairs of my black work pants came out with white markings, and residue all over them. Horrible product at least for my pants. About to put them back into the washer, and hope the residue washes out of them. I've attached photos in this review.
