I am very pleased with the tripod. It is very light which is what I was looking for because I want it for travel. It is well built and is sturdy enough to mount my camera, spotting scope, and night vision camera. It has many nice features as well such as a quick release and level.
This item is very heavy duty and taller than I expected. It really exceeded all my expectations.
Great accessory
This tripod is very sturdy and easy to set up and adjust. The 72" height makes it great for shooting videos of school plays without so many back of peoples heads. For it's size it is light and the carrying ccase makes it easy to carry along or attach to a backpack to keep your hands free.
I love this :) I'm pretty tall so finding a tripod that works for me and isn't crazy expensive is hard for me. I love that this one goes up to 72". It is very sturdy which is another plus! I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this tripod for my husband to use to take pictures of my daughter at NPC figure competition. Didn t use it yet, but it is nice and sturdy and holds the camera well.
As a beginner, I really can't give a totally honest review because I still need to figure some things out about this tripod. Absolutely no paper work came with it. Most things were commonsense of course but there is still a couple things that aren't that easy for someone who has never had a tripod before. I did write the "Bower" company but have heard no response what so ever. For these reasons I have given it mostly average ratings and hoping that I find someone that might help me.
I currently have a Bower Steady lift series VT7200. I really love it and that is the reason i opted to buy this product. As it was mentioned as Heavy duty i thought it will be sturdier than my old tripod. But to my surprise this was very cheaply made. The tripod was not stable or sturdy. The legs of the tripod where too lean and not thick. I am completely disappointed with this purchase. I ended up returning this product.
For something that says heavy duty in its name, this tripod is anything but heavy duty. Highly disappointed in its quality.
