Seems like a nice beginner kit. comes with 5 aluminum crochet hooks plus a few other accessories and a step by step illustrated booklet.

Great gift for a 13 year old learning to crochet. It offered her different projects to try out her skills. Great price too!
I was able to teach my daughter to crochet easily with this set. The stitch counter %26 measuring tape are handy for additional crafting projects such as crochet and sewing. Multi-sized hooks %26 crochet booklet are helpful for beginners as well. All-in-all it's a great value for the price.
Awesome! Perfect for starter kit, especially when you're trying to read a pattern and you had no idea that you needed a specific item. Well worth the money and very good quality!
This crochet kit is a gift for my granddaughter's birthday. The instructions and patterns included are easy to understand. I also bought the Boye crochet kit that came with the pet patterns. This is going to be so much fun!
I recently decided to start crocheting and picked up this pack. The crochet hooks are standard aluminum hooks in a variety of sizes that are good for beginners. The book has some good beginner friendly ideas, but some of the initial tutorials are a little confusing. I found that videos online were more helpful for me to learn some of the basics.
The hooks are standard metal tapered style (head goes in and has a more rounded head shape)... which personally find a bit more difficult to crochet with, as i am used to the inline style (i think they offer better stitch spacing control). But are sturdy and good sizes for beginners. The accompanying book has many detailed descriptions/diagrams of basic stitches and terminology.. so is an excellent starting resource (i haven't tried the patterns in it though). The thread counter is flimsy and difficult to turn. The circular thread markers fall out when i turn my work or pull the item from rest back into use.. so also disappointing. So overall, I will need to buy more of the safety pin style markers and a new, sturdier stitch counter.. but find the kit to be wirth it for the crochet hooks and guide book.
It's a good beginners set, but I wouldn't get it for the crochet directions. The directions were hard to follow.
The booklet isn't too helpful, I needed to use visuals to help me figure out the crochet stitches. It may different for everyone else though, i just need to see it to know how to do it. There's not much explanation for how to use the extras besides the hooks, also had to google what they were for. Good set of hooks for a beginner though! Excited to try the projects.
