I bought these as the replacement for son's scout uniform. They are perfect color and quality out preforms the BSA pants for half the price!
My fourteen-year-old son likes the relaxed fit. (Skateboarders in general eschew slim-fit trousers.) I like its sturdiness and deep pockets that keep his wallet secure through kick-flips and ollies.
I bought these for my son who is constantly ripping holes in his knees. The fabric of these seem really sturdy. Hoping these will last a season.
Just what we were looking for. They act as our Boy Scout pants because my skinny and short Boy Scout doesn't do well with the BSA branded pants. These match and fit the bill for us!
My 9 year old son has multiple pairs and wears them daily and doesn't wear them out before he outgrows then. We just keep buying the next size up. Very true to size and fit well over boots.
I bought these pants for my son. He finds them very comfortable and really likes them. The pants were on sale when I bought them so that was even better!
I bought them for Boy scout work pants since the Boy Scout do not have a tough work pants. To work in the bush and to be near a campfire because they do not melt. The only thing is the one of the side or tech pocket needs to be bigger to accommodate a smart phone with a otter box case this is same for adult pants. Hammer loop needs to a little a little bigger to hold a a bigger hammer. Now if they had these in shorts for boys would be great. There is not enough work wear for young workers out there. These do hold to boys tough more wear the softer they get.
I really like these pants for work (installing insulation among other things.) I crawl around in attics and crawlspace in them and they are tough enough to handle it for a decent price. I use all the little pockets for my knife, pencils, etc. They run long for me but I don't mind folding the legs up. My only complaint is the "hammer loop" which fits a long screwdriver at best. I would actually like to put a hammer through it!
Good pants! My only complaint is that the pockets are too small, I'm a fan of deep front pockets and side pockets large enough to fit tools. These are lacking there but I'll make em work.
Bought pair of Carpenter pants at a local store. I'm a small build l, and they were baggy and didn't fit well. I went online and tried the 'boys' size. They fit better, but all the pockets were much smaller. I could barely get my cellphone in the back pocket. My hands just barely fit in the front pockets, but not very deep. The 'tool loop's was much smaller, I could barely get my thumb in it. I do construction sometimes and forestry work, and it would be nice to have a loop for a hammer or hatchet. It's so small, about a screwdriver is the only thing that will fit, though the 'adult' size is fine for that. I won't be buying anymore Dickies products unless they fix their sizing or make the 'adult/boys' sizes more equally functional.
