My girls liked these candy canes it was nice to have an option other than the peppermint ones.
To get canes small enough to eat, in fruity flavors - and on sale?! Total win-win in my book! Most of the canes are intact - but since I break them to use like a regular hard-candy, I don't mind the broken ones either. These worked out to be cheaper than the mints I used to buy for $1 per pound that are now $2+ per pound. Thanks Wal-mart! I stocked up!
I counted how many were broken and it was 20% of the box. I'd expect a few broken but not that many. If you have 100 kids you want to give candy canes to, you better get two boxes to allow for breakage.
