Works great to hold my RV rear view camera monitor which is not small. So far only used it onceâ€:tm:s and it did not move on my dash.
Allows the NAVI system to be within easy reach. Very stable. A theft deterrent because there are no tell-tale suction cup impressions on the windshield. extremely portable
For anyone who has a GPS and doesn't want to mount the disk to their dashboard or leave it hanging from the windshield this is GREAT. I especially like the fact that I can just grab it off of the dashboard when shopping at the mall and place the unit on the floor (mat and all) and then just place it back on the dashboard when returning to my vehicle. There is also no need to worry that the suction will come loose off of the windshield and the unit will fall. I can also grab it easier to place in another vehicle that doesn't have one, just unplug and go. I would highly recommend this to anyone who looks for convenience. As they say, I would give this product 2 thumbs up!!.
My husband and I drove from Pennsylvania to Florida and used the Dash Pad with my phone as the GPS. The pad stayed in place on the dashboard no matter how many bumps and turns were in the road. It was easier for me to follow the map on the phone instead of using the windshield mount.
I have a Furrion backup camera monitor for our RV that kept falling off of the windshield. When looking for mount alternatives, I purchased both the clam shell style holder and the Bracketron Nav-Mat Portable GPS Dash Pad to try. Since our pickup dashboard had a small storage area on the center of it, I needed an item that would fit in the space, or was flexible enough to sit in the area without wobbling. The Bracketron Nav-Mat Portable GPS Dash Pad conforms well to the dashboard storage area, stays in place, and the suction platform works great. My only wish is that the dash pad was a bit smaller in circumference, but overall it fits the bill. 2morrow approved!
This did what I expected it to do.. we have a leased car so we did not want anything permanant on the dash...this stayed in place the way it should have for a good view, yet it was easy to tuck away when you reached your destination too!
Excellent. Holds my 7" GPS without it moving. Nest solution I have seen to get my GPS off of the windshield. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
A little large and heavy but it works great and No sliding
We had tried vent holders but the phone either got too hot or cold. Sticking a holder on the window didnâ€:tm:t work either. This has worked great. Stays in place. Easy to use.
Product provides great flexibility for positioning your GPS system. The whole unit is very easily movable to "hide" your GPS system on the floor, etc. when you're not using it. It stays on the dash of my car very well...no slippage. It is like a portable ash tray with an excellent rubber mat on the bottom to hold it on your dash. If I had one gripe, it would be that it is a bit cumbersome in its "bean bag' styling, but still the product works very well. Just watch the depth of your dash to make sure it will be compatible. My son has a Jeep and it doesn't fit very well on the top of its dash because the dash is not very deep. Otherwise, I imagine it would be a great product for the majority of other cars. Great idea to make this product!
