This product is just what I wanted and expected. It is a sturdy metal that has a galvanized white coating on it. It fits perfect over any standard door. The tip of the hook is flattened so as to be safe. It is smooth and will not snag anything.
The hook was prettier than I thought it would be mainly because of the ceramic insert. The hook easily fit over the top of the bathroom door and did not interfere with closing the door. The price made this a good deal.

I loved the product but it was sized for inside door not outside. Can you make one in the future wider to accommodate the outside door.

If you have something heavy to hang on your door then you may be happy with this door hanger because it is much stronger than the plastic ones you can find in the store. But I really wanted one of the plastic ones, they are much cheaper and that was all I needed but I don't get to the store very often so I purchased this one online. It is looser than the plastic ones so it will fit a fatter door, plus if you need extra strength there is a hole in the top so that you can screw it into the very top of your door.
This is a nice, well made, hook. It just was not wide enough to go over my door.
It wasn't a problem with the hook fitting over the door, it was a problem with closing the door. It worked on 1:3 doors, where the door was a little too small for the frame. Thickness of the part that hangs over the door is 1/8".
Did not fit over a standard size door. When I tried putting it on it broke in half on the spot. Straight to the trash is where it went along with the money I spent.
The problem with this product was that the actual hook that went over the door was to thick and my door would not close.
