excellent shaver, nice lose shave
I have tried Norelco for a number of years. I then switched to Remington for many more years. I am 53 years old and switching to Braun for the first time. I always felt Braun was above my expense level. I finnaly found a Braun that I could afford and had the features I wanted. 3 words. I LOVE IT. Enough said
this electric razor from Braun is one of the best I've owned. I looked at over 10 different models and purchased one other model before trying this one and I have to say that for the price, this razor is everything I'd hoped for. it would have been nice to have one with the self cleaning option, but not for nearly double the price. it only takes under five minutes to clean it yourself anyway. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a clean comfortable shave for a decent price.
I have had 2 Norelcos and 1 Remington, this razor by far gives the best shave. You have the option of washing the razor clean or using the brush. 50 minutes shaving time, on a full charge. Full charge takes 1 hour. This is the first BrAun I have owned. Give yourself at least 2 weeks for your skin to get used to the razor, and the shaves imporve the more you use the razor.
My last three shavers have been foil models from Braun. The rotary shavers do cut more closely, but irritate my skin. I've never had any problems with Brauns' foil shavers. The rechargeable battery seems to lose it's ability to hold a charge after about two years, but can always be used as plug-in shaver after that. I would recommend the twin foil with the long hair trimmer in the middle otherwise you will always miss some whiskers. I would definitely recommend this model.
This shaver works very well and is a good value for its quality
This Braun shaver doesn't shave as close as my old 3-head Norelco but it is adequate for a decent quick shave in the morning. It takes more passes in different directions over all areas of my face and neck in order to get an even shave.
I have loose skin including a turkey neck and I could not even begin to get a shave out of this shaver. No matter how much I tugged and pulled on my skin it would not glide and after 10 minutes I gave up and went back to my blade.
I've used a Norelco razor for years and I have always been susceptible to skin irritation. I thought that Braun was worth a try, due to many high praise reviews, but what I found was that this razor is an absolute joke! It failed to remove much of the hair on my face and if you've got a goatee, you can forget about shaping it, as this razor won't work for that. Very disappointing!
