[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after using the Braun Series 7 790cc Shaver several times now I have to say I am very impressed! Not only does it give me an extremely close shave leaving me feel really smooth it also looks very hi-tech and down right sexy! It's black colouring with blue lights really makes it look futuristic and the genius idea of it measuring how clean the shaver is by putting it in it's docking station and then cleaning it automatically is amazing and so convenient! Such a great idea and takes that horrible job of cleaning the shaver yourself away from you. As for the shaver itself, personalised settings helped me to achieve a very close shave and because it requires so little effort to use it's so easy to just grab and use everyday. It even has a trimmer on the side to keep my sideburns and beard trimmed if I need it. When I've finished my shave it's just a simple case of putting back in it's docking station (which was very easy to set up by the way) and it then measures how clean it is and then it cleans it using the cleaning cartridge you slot into the dock. All very simple! Just by looking at the shaver in it's docking station I can see how much battery is left (it charges it for you too!) how clean it is and also if I need to replace the cleaning cartridge. I love this shaver, it's wireless, shaves well, looks amazing and I recommend that any guy looking for a close shave, minimum effort and likes some style they should buy the Braun Series 7 Shaver. You won't be disappointed.
I start by saying this is my third electric shaver,my last was another manufacturer and was 27 years ago and it put me off electric shavers being just no good for the job and have been a wet razor shave ever since,as years have past and now 47 and bald on top (it happens) i was reading the reviews and thought could this really be true,is this electric shaver as good as they say,well seeing and this case feeling i am so grateful to the reviewer's and mostly to Braun and there team for this amazing shaver,i can honestly say that now i've bought and used it,not only on shaving my face but my head (well mainly the back and sides of my head) guys this is the shaver you have been looking for,it glides over your face and neck and in my case head too and truly does a perfect job fast and clean,it truly is that good and cleans itself in the base unit to keep it like new,all i can say is the Braun 790cc-4 is amazing.
I travel a lot and this is a must have in my travel kit. I no longer take my razor and gel since it shaves as smooth as a razor. since I bought the Braun series 7, its all I need. I also like the battery life. I can go weeks on a single charge. You can't go wrong with this.
I purchased this for my husband's birthday and he loves it! He was a blade man for over 50 years. Since using the Braun Series 7, he has become a convert and will not go back to a blade! He gets a really close shave and it takes a lot less time and effort!
I use this as a daily shaver. I have really sensitive skin and have to shave everyday for work. This allows me to look my best everyday and the cleaning station keeps me razor at its best. Love this razor.
My 7 Series Braun Shaver finally stopped working after 20+ years. I didn't think twice about purchasing another Braun 7 Series shaver. I ordered it online and it arrived a few days later. The newer technology is amazing and the shave is even closer. I highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed.
I have sensitive skin and the only way I can get a really close shave is with high dollar throw away razors. I had to keep buying new blades monthly. But no electric razor could ever get close as a normal shave UNTIL now. This razor will get your stubble down to a baby smooth face. I shave before i shower then when I get out I run it again just to make sure I got it as close as I can. No razor burns no matter how hard you push. No irritation, fastest shave, and very well built. I would buy again and recommend if you have not tried it you need to. Cleaning system works as advertised. Any review that says it does not cut as close as a normal shave then they only ran across the hairs in one direction. You need to hit the hairs In every direction you can. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as electric shavers go,its nearly faultless. The actual shaver body is a genius of design and ergonomics. The only flaw I can find is that the replacement shaver cassettes are a slight drop in quality compared to the one that came with the shaver.If you look on you tube at other reviews of the replacement cassettes, you can clearly see in the pictures that the design of the foil holes are different between the original one and the latest ones. Apart from that, the best shaver I've ever had. No question about it
Well, I've only used it a 1/2 doz. times and the <shave> so far has been Excellent.. My query is "What happens to all the [hairs and stuff] after the Shaver has been Cleaned" ??? I would like an Answer to this..
I absolutely love the shaver, but after a few months of use one of the contacts for recharging wore down and when the cleaning kicks on the vibrations shift the shaver in the base, cutting off the cleaning process. I have been using the shaver since, but have to clean it in the sink instead of the base. Would easily get 5 stars if base still worked, it is an amazing shaver.
