[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee! My new Braun coffee maker with the automatic brew feature is fantastic, just set it & forget it. I also love that I can grab a cup mid-brew and it automatically stops and restarts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I missed waking up to the smell of coffee waiting for me in the morning, BrewSense has given me my mornings back. Auto on feature is the most important thing for me in a coffee pot besides the flavor and this pot gives me wonderful tasting coffee every morning. It also has auto off and keep warm plate that keeps my coffee the perfect temperature. This is a very well designed machine, nothing is cheaply made on this at all, very durable and sturdy. The basket is the best I seen at an anti drip feature, nothing dripping at all and coffee filters perfectly into the pot. Easy to program, easy to fill, easy to clean and makes the perfect tasting coffee every time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Braun BrewSense I feel like a coffee brewing genius. I love being able to get my coffee maker set up the night before so I don't have to rush around in the morning. Great features like a cleaning cycle, removable filter basket for easier cleaning, a permanent filter which saves money on paper filters and the charcoal water filter you can use or leave out. We love hot cocoa but hate turning on the stove just to boil a pot of water so I use the Braun BrewSense Coffee Maker for hot cocoa water too because I can remove and clean the filter basket my water never has a coffee taste unless I want it to. The modern stainless steel and white design of the coffeemaker gives my kitchen an upgraded look. Prepare to get complements on this stunning coffeemaker because I do and be ready to make a perfect cup of coffee with ease. *This coffeemaker also has a marked waterline inside for the Braun Mug2Go you buy separately so you never have to guess how much water to add if you want to use the mug! My favorite things were the anti drip removable filter basket, the cleaning cycle and the ability to choose to brew now or later.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Braun BrewSense 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker has such a sleek design that fits right in with the decor of my kitchen and I love it. This little coffee maker is wonderful, it makes the perfect coffee every time and it has a anti-drip system that lets you pause and pour mid-brew, has a 24-hour clock, auto-on/off and 1 - 4 cup functions and it has a warming plate to keep your coffee piping hot! The 12-cup glass Flavor Carafe is dishwasher safe and this coffee maker takes cone filter and uses ground coffee.I love my coffee and this coffee maker does the job when I'm craving a cup of joe. I highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves our Braun BrewSense Drip Coffee Maker. He is pleased to have the coffee brewed already when he's ready for it in the morning. The programmable timer works precisely. We both like the water filter feature and the style of the coffee maker. Another great feature is the removable reusable grounds basket. I would recommend this coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It had been a long time since I had owned a programmable coffee maker, and so I very much looked forward to trying out the features included with my new Braun coffee maker. It has a 24-hour timer which can be found on the easy-to-use control panel, and I like the fact that you can either brew a full pot of coffee or choose the 1-4 cup setting. The clock is clearly visible on the front of the machine which is very helpful when busy buzzing around the kitchen and needing to keep an eye on the time. I have lost count of the number of times I have dripped coffee all over the counter when removing the carafe to pour a cup of coffee, all because I am too impatient to wait for the brew cycle to end. Thankfully, those days are no more because this product allows you to use the brew pause system to pour without spillage. It really does work very well. I was not sure at first about the gold-tone filter that is included with this model as I am so used to using a paper filter which makes for an easier clean-up. The manufacturer claims that by using the filter supplied, the flavor of the coffee is enhanced. I myself did not find any noticeable difference, but the rest of the family say that they can definitely tell the difference! I guess I am outnumbered and that there will not be a need to buy paper filters in the foreseeable future. The charcoal filter is a nice feature, ensuring that you do not need to worry about the integrity of your brewing water before pouring it into the machine. This coffee machine compares very favorably performance-wise to others I have used in the past, and it looks good too! My particular model is white and stainless steel. It is a good buy for anyone contemplating the purchase of a new coffee machine.
Not only does this coffee maker look great on my counter, but it brews deliciously hot coffee swiftly. The stainless steel colour is modern and matches the other appliances. The height of the unit makes it easier to fit under the top cupboard, but I have to move it forward to fill (always the case with any coffee maker). When filling the unit I recommend you note how much water you pour in from your carafe in the first place because it's hard to interpret the water level from looking at the indicators inside. When the coffee is ready it does not beep like my old coffee maker. No worries though, the sound of its last “push” is fairly obvious. Great news- the carafe does not drip when pouring. The coffee stays hot for 2 hours, and that time can be adjusted. However, what can't be adjusted though is the temperature of the warming plate; I think the coffee gets too hot and therefore gets bitter when it sits. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I'm glad I was able to find it on sale as it priced too high otherwise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Braun BrewSense drip coffee maker for the very first time recently. I have to say that I am quite impressed with the coffee that was made in this coffee maker. My coffee came out nice and hot and full of flavor. I also brewed some tea in it and it came out tasting great. The gold-tone filter and charcoal filter ensure a great tasting coffee and I love that I don't have to use paper filters. It's very easy to program the timer to have coffee brewed whenever you like and when it's time to descale, it will let you know. I love the white/stainless steel look as it goes very well with my kitchen and other appliances. What I didn't like is the small clock display on the front, it seems to just get lost in the large black square area on the front of the maker and there's no option to have it illuminated to see it better. Other than that, this is a great coffee maker that I would recommend to anyone.
I like Braun because it's a coffee maker company. I chose this one because it's the only one I could find in white, and it goes well with my kitchen (this is the second one I've bought). There are 2 things I don't like about it, though: once you put the water into the water container, there's no visible indication of the water level. The other thing--and all of the quality drip coffee makers are like this now--is that the entire lid has to open up in order to pour in the water. I liked the older models, where you just opened a small lid to pour it in.
Braun was known for making quality. That was a long time ago. I have bought 4 different coffee makers in the past 6 months - each replacing the last. Braun, Cuisinart, etc. They are all crap. I don't know who to recommend at this point. Machines get a decent review, I buy one and it's junk. Inconsistent coffee. Sometimes watery, sometimes too strong with grounds floating in it. It has mostly one job: brew coffee - and it can't really do that.
