Our old coffee maker died some time ago, and we have been using an acient one-cup machine, which is just not the same when you are coffee drinkers extraordinaries. When we saw the Braun KF7000BK 12-cup coffee maker, we thought that it was definitely worth a try. We are so glad that we did! It is very nice looking, Will brew up to 12 cups of coffee at a time, and is very easy to use. The control panel is easy to understand and set. You can set automatic start times and an automatic length of time for the heating plate to stay on. Our model came with a permanent filter basket, so we don't have to buy paper filters. It also came with a handy coffee scoop (careful: each scoop makes 2 cups of coffee). We brew a pot of coffee at least twice a day, and we are loving this coffee maker.
This is great! It comes with reusable filter and has button features to set time. Brew strength, and lots more options. The carafe is easy to use and machine has slick design. I love how fast it brews too! For a regular coffee machine. This is top of the line!
I'm liking this coffee maker a lot. It's perfect for people that drink coffee all day. It has a 24 hour pre programmable timer, it keeps the coffee warm, and the ant drip feature lets you pause and pour mid brew to keep from dripping coffee everywhere. The brew strength is adjustable so the coffee tastes amazing. It has a 12 cup capacity and a self clean setting.
I received the Braun BrewSense 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Brew Strength Selector and Glass Flavor Carafe in Stainless Steel/Black through the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. This is my first Braun coffee maker. For starters, this was very easy to set up no problems. The owner's manual was easy to understand. The coffee from this machine is simply the best coffee I have ever had however, I am not a hardcore coffee drinker. I just need some creamer and a little sugar in my cup of joe. And I am good with that. It was very simple to pour water in the pot by just opening the plastic lid and pour right in without spilling a drop. There are no issues here. It keeps the coffee nice and hot once brewed. It turns off automatically after 2 hours or you can enable the auto off and set the automatic cut-off for a shorter or longer amount of time up to 5 hours. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who loves coffee and to those who enjoy a great cup of coffee. Every time it brews the coffee its just at the right temperature. It also allows you to pour a cup in the middle of brewing. You can adjust the strength of the coffee as well. It really tastes wonderful and I enjoy it. So cleaning and maintaining are easy. And I say this again, the coffee from this machine is simply the best coffee I've ever had, really. Enjoy.
Love the black with the silver buttons as it fits in nicely with my other kitchen appliances. Coffee maker is easy to use and clean. It does come with a removable coffee filter, charcoal water filter, and a small spoon for scooping coffee into the filter. Easy to set up and has the ability to automate coffee making. Will brew up to 12 cups of coffee at a time, but since it's just me and my husband, we only brew 6 cups at a time. Love the fact that we do not have to buy and use coffee filters anymore as it comes with a permanent one (which is also very easy to rinse and reuse). Love it so far!
I received the Braun Brewsense KF 7150 Coffee maker recently and I couldn't wait to use it. I have used it 4 times so far, I really like the look of it, silver sleek finish and black always look good, makes it looks expensive!. What i like the most are the different programmable settings which I find very practical, I can set it up for smaller quantities because most of the time is just me drinking coffee, unless we have visits. I really enjoy the programmable timer, there's nothing more satisfying then waking up to sweet aroma of coffee in the morning. Besides, I also love the permanent filter so i dont have to worry about that, and that is dishwasher safe. So far I'm enjoying this Braun coffee maker. The only thing I didn't like too much is the noise it makes at the end of using the last water supply, it is very loud in my opinion and it dors bother me a little. Bottom line, yes i would recommend to any friend, just consider you dont mind a little noise. For that, i would consider giving it four stars instead of five, but is suppose it is a normal even though i haven't find it i am still looking for a quiet coffee maker.
I could not wait to try out this coffee maker. I have been long overdue to get a new one and I have heard great things about this particular brand. This is similar to other 12-cup drip coffee makers but also has a few key features that I feel make it stand out. It comes with its own gold tone permanent filter, as well as an included charcoal water filter. I feel like it helps enhance the taste of the coffee and makes it taste significantly better. It also has a large LCD display which I love because my old coffee maker had a small display. I like how you can adjust the temperature to high, medium or low and it also has a setting for regular or bold strength coffee. This coffee maker has an anti-drip system so you can grab a cup of coffee mid-brew to enjoy right away. It has a 24-hour timer so you can have your coffee brewing right when you wake up. There is also a 1-4 cup setting for brewing smaller quantities. It has a cleaning feature that lets you know when you need to descale to maintain the best coffee flavor. Also, most parts are dishwasher safe so it saves me time from having to hand-wash everything. I like how you can adjust the shutoff time also. You can have it automatically shutoff anywhere between 15 minutes after brewing to up to 5 hours. I stay home with my toddler during the day, and during the winter months, I spend most of my day sipping on coffee. My old coffee maker would automatically turn off after 2 hours and I would have to jump up to turn it back on. With this coffee maker, my husband can get up at 5:30 and enjoy his coffee and I can still have a hot pot of coffee waiting on me come 10:30. I do wish this coffee maker had a window to see through on the side (like my old one) so that you can tell how much water you have poured in. I'm a shorter individual, so I usually have to stand on my tip-toes just to see what level the water is at. Generally, because of this, I usually just stick to making a full 12 cup pot of coffee even though we might only drink half of it. That is honestly my only complaint about this coffee maker. I love everything else about it. It has a nice chrome color and it actually takes up less counter space than my old coffee maker. Overall, I would recommend this product to others.
I have owned many coffee pots over the years. This one may be the best but it does have some room for improvement. The sleek design and stainless steel look sharp on the counter. It brews a delicious cup of coffee. The LED clock is a nice feature and a big improvement over my last coffee pot's clock. Much easier to read in the middle of the night. A drawback would be it's hard to tell how many cups have been poured into the reservoir, because you are looking down into a deep crevice at some light green ridges with hard to read numbers on them. There is no external "window" to show how many cups of water are in the reservoir . The charcoal water filters are hard to find when it's time for a replacement. For some reason when pouring the water into the reservoir, you have to have your hand at a certain angle because the reservoir is quite small unlike other coffee pots. This often results in the unfortunate common occurrence of water pouring down the pot and pooling on the counter instead of going into the correct place. Lastly be prepared for buying the cone-shaped filters oh, so you can also use the mesh filter basket instead of buying disposable filters if you like.
I didn't realize the box would be sent unpackaged. The outside of box is damaged which is embarrassing to give as gift.
The first thing I noticed was that this was big and tall. I took a pic of my current coffee maker, so you could see just how tall. It is not a huge problem though until you want to open the lid. You can barely open it and even then it is difficult to get inside. You really can't see what you are doing or pour water in or anything. You have to pull it all the way to the edge for it to open full hinge. It is also not super easy to pull to the edge when needed. The water comes out the top lid which has looked aged, cloudy, or dirty since the day I got it. It's not shiny like the rest of the unit. There is a filter to change out every couple months if you want, but do not have to use one if you don't want. There is a water hardness setting. A green light will come on to let you know cleaning time. You can remove the carafe for up to 20 seconds during mid brew, so you can pour yourself a cup before it is finished. You can use filters too but not needed with the reusable filter. I did not see any instruction inside the box it came with, but I think I found it online. That said I have not gotten a chance to try all the features out yet. It took a bit of time to find, read and figure everything out alone. I had to make coffee with my machine after an hour of messing with setting this one up with still no coffee. It's a little more buttons and features than I want. There is also a whole lot of steam coming out the back and then onto the LED panel. I don't like the idea of that being only inches from my cabinets. I could see this being good for an office with the programs and reminders, but not for my home where I'm the only one who uses it.
