[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this mixer from the power to the size. This mixer has several different settings and can handle anything from whipping eggs to making a loaf of bread. The lengths of the whisks and dough hooks are superb! They are much longer than my previous one's, and allow me to mix more batter without having to worry about getting the batter all over the mixers body. I do wish that this had a hard case to store everything, but the power more than makes up for that.

This set includes the mixer, two sets of attachments and a storage bag for the attachments. The mixer is easy to set up and easy to clean. The base of the attachments are shaped differently so you can guide the attachments into the mixer slots properly. The cord has flexible positions at the mixer base, which allows use to be less rigid. The cord can be positioned so the mixer sits upright. The mixer is easy to grip and comfortable to hold. The mixer has a lot of power and it appears to mix quicker than a hand mixer we have been using. I am pleased with its quality and performance and glad to have this in our kitchen.

It definitely out mixes my last mixer. It is so quiet and, the dials are easy to use, it has a variety of settings and doesn't sling food everywhere I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful quality mixer. I am also excited to learn that I can buy attachments for it!! It's really so much more than a standard mixer. My only complaints are that it is heavy compared to my old one BUT It is a lot more powerful as well so it's a good trade off. They included a great little storage bag for the beaters I WISH it would have been a little larger so I could have put the whole mixer in there lol over all this mixer is definitely a keeper!

I really like that the beaters and dough hooks have different shapes; a hexagon and a circle so you will always know which goes on the left or ride side. I like that the weight of the mixer is in the front which helps keep it more in the bowl instead of you having to carry the weight while mixing. It's not real loud which is a great. The handle has a soft grip that is comfortable in your hand. It's cleans up easily and comes with a pouch to keep the beaters and hooks in. I am very impressed with this mixer it works very well.

First, it offers a great grip due to the soft grip material in it. Next, you have 9 speeds and also turbo. It whips through everything. You have the beater and dough hooks too. I love how the mixer has a hexagon and a circle to guide you as to which attachment goes in place. It's a very sleek looking mixer and not so big and billy. Not only that, but also comes with a pouch for your attachments. One of the other qualities I like is how it's not super loud. Super easy to clean too. The attachments pop on/off effortlessly. A great mixer!
After 49 years my hand held mixer stopped working. This Braun hand mixer was highly recommended and after looking at others and prices I selected what I thought was the optimal. Other than taking a few seconds to find the 'click" in attaching the hooks, it has been "off and running." This works well, whips cream, which is my biggest use, and has dough hooks as well. I have not tried the dough hooks yet, but if they work I will consider it an ingenious addition.
This Braun mixer is the only product on the market with real power. Recently, when we went to order a new hand mixer, we ordered two different "Top" brands. They were both dismally underpowered, with ridiculous features like lights, and nothing like their old models.
Replaced a 1990 vintage Kitchen Aid hand mixer with the Braun HM 5100WH. The Braun has plenty of power and features the Kitchen Aid lacked: dough hooks, variable speed dial, accessory storage sack. The Kitchen Aid was more balanced, and more stable when set down.

As for this mixer, it is a little noisier than my previous one but also twice as powerful. I have a Braun mixer with 3 speed levels which has lasted me for years. This one had 9 speed level and is efficient. The turn-a-dial speed adjustment design is very convenient and makes things easier. After getting used to this mixer, I prefer this design over the other old one. The attachments are easily attached and detached. They are easy to clean as they are dish washer safe. If you prefer to hand wash, you can quickly hand wash them. I am impressed that the dough hook can handle all of the bread recipes. Overall this mixer does not weight a ton but still does what is needed to be done.

Maybe too much speed for creaming the butter. Even softened, it went everywhere. For mixing all the ingredients, though, it worked awesome and there was a lot of speed options. It's a little clunky design-wise, but overall I'm happy with it.
