[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric razor and let me just say... it's a game changer! I have never had a smoother shave. I love that this Braun is very versatile. I can't wait to purchase the face brush and other attachments. The travel case is very convenient. This is definitely a product that will last you for years.
Works well, not quite as close a shave as a blade razor, but pretty close. I like the fact that it is water proof.
It's a good product with the quality the way was designed, easy to use and the material that was made anybody can predict the ‘this shaver was made in Germany.
When it arrived, it worked very well. Mine was already charged and I used it. The shaver did better than any other I had purchased, truly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has used this shaver a few times now and wishes it did a better job at shaving. I do agree it makes the skin smooth once shaved but it is hard to work with in certain areas of the face. He wishes it moved more to reach those areas like under the nose and jaw line. The shaver also had a ton of hair falling out all over his shirt. I don't know.. maybe his hair is very thick but it happened on longer and shorter hair. This was defiantly a con as he had to shave over the sink like he would have to do with a manual razor. Overall it was easy to use and clean and it did shave close as it left the face smooth.
I read many reviews regarding this item, on Amazon and Walmart. I actually purchase it on Amazon for $10.00 less but was jerked around on delivery dates, so I cancelled my order, and went to my local Walmart and bought it. Now that I vented here is my review. 1. I saw many reviews on this and people complained about the manual, because its all pictures. I didn't even use the manual and set it up in about 3 minutes. No problem found. 2. I was concerned that it did not come with the cleaning solution and it does. 3. People complained that every time they charged it, the holder began to clean it. People thats what its supposed to do. Myself I thought outside the box and just placed it in the holder without pressing the button to start the charger. See picture. Long story short. Its a shaver. it shaves your face. Dont make it so complicated. lol I just bought yesterday and used it once and got a close shave. it charges really fast. and I thought that was cool but I will not clean it again until the battery is low and it needs another charge, then and only then will i go through the cleaning cycle. FYI the only somewhat flaw I have seen so far is its kinda noisy when its cleaning and charging but only for about 5 minutes. Once the cleaning is done, its quiet again
Me: 74 year old male with a beard that I keep neatly trimmed to about 1/4 inch. I have always used a disposable, twin blade, razor to shave around the beard. Wrinkles that come with getting older can lead to nicks and cuts. My hope was that this electric shaver would eliminate the bleeding. Good news: No nicks or cuts! Bad news: It takes much longer to get the job done, and the overall cost of shaving will increase over time, that is, IF I replace the blade cartridge, rechargeable battery and cleaning solution as required. (Not likely that I will comply with all that.) Complaints: Poor documentation! The instructions rely on my ability to interpret their grade-school, icon-based artwork, and my ability to read the tiny print. So, I went to their website to download the document to increase the size. That is still no replacement for well written documentation.
Pros: -Shaves really close (mostly) for a 1 day beard. -Light Weight. -Wet or Dry -Price Cons: -MESSY. Cut stubble goes everywhere. You'll defiantly need the cleaning station. -Cleaning station is LOUD! -B/c it's light, you have to press harder. It will razor burn sensitive areas if you do. -Doesn't cut 1 day neck hairs very well. -Razor doesn't operate plugged in like the older models. Warning: -If you want to buy a foil replacement - only buy one made by Braun. Braun's replacement has metal parts. knockoffs are all plastic (back %26 front).
bot because hubby needed help with shaving and U have to do it. i could not give him a good shave. used it two different times. hubby and I felt we needed to try another shaver. disappointed.
It is not efficient and not shaving properly. I need to shave with blazer just after using this. Does not make any sence.
