I have two young boys and sometimes taking their temperature can be a challenge. Not anymore! Luckily they don't mind me gently putting the thermometer in their ear. As a nurse and a mom, I greatly appreciate the accuracy of this thermometer! It is extremely easy to use and the display is simple to read. I love how this particular thermometer can be used on infants, children and adults too! This is now the thermometer I keep in my kids to-go bag (along with Tylenol/ibuprofen and oh so many snacks). This is the second of two Braun Thermometers I recently purchased. I like this model better because it was cheaper than the than the other one, and I like the features. It has a cap for storage, one button operation, and displays the temperature on the side. Overall length is about 5 1/4". The only disadvantage I see is that it's slightly difficult for me to manipulate with my arthritic hands.

But kids are not comfortable when you put in kids ear but good for adults. I personally fan of braun brand it have really good quality. Recommended for adults or teenagers but no for infants or toddlers.
