How do you perfectly toast any slice no matter what type of bread? Add an extra 30 seconds for well that little bit more. The Breville BTA720XL Bit More toaster also features a 'Lift & Look' Lever which raises and lowers the carriage to show the browning progress without interrupting the toasting cycle. Additionally, the high lift feature raises the carriage approximately a 1/2 inch making it easier to remove smaller items such as English Muffins.

After researching madly; this was the most efficient and accurate bread browning unit I could find in a 2 slice category. Also love the “little bit more” button for when you err on the side of caution.
Love the wide slots for muffins, rolls and crumpets. Love that you can lift that bit extra to get something out without using tongs. Love that it secures the bread into the middle without it falling to one side. We have tried muffins and fruit bread - both were evenly browned to perfection. My 40yr old Sunbeam still works but it was time to update, hope this lasts even half as long
Compact toaster, looks classy on my counter, This is a powerful little machine, so do some toast testing, to find your level, i have done unfrozen bread and frozen waffles, just past 4 worked for the toast and frozen setting just past 4 worked for my frozen waffle I dont eat bagels so I cannot comment on that feature worth the price for me
Used this toaster recently on holidays and loved how easy it was to use as well as stylish and simple. Has all the features I need in a toaster at a great price point. Very happy. Looks fab in my newly renovated kitchen to boot!
I bought this toaster in white when it was first released many years ago and it is still working but a little bit tired. I wanted to replace it but discovered it only comes in stainless steel, a product I detest. Please Breville bring back the white Toaster with all these features so I can retire my wonderful but very tired toaster. I would give it 5 stars if it was white.
The lift up action is completely unsuitable for my needs. I never buy ordinary supermarket bread which probably would lift up to a location to be gripped with finger and thumb. I cut slices from sourdough loaves and the like and it entails turning off the toaster and inserting tongs or the like to retrieve the toasted slice. Very user unfriendly!
Worst toaster ever. Save yourself buyer's regret, and pick something else. After purchasing a Breville coffee machine, Barista Pro, which is brilliant, I trusted Breville to deliver. BIG MISTAKE.
50 shades of black ..!!!
I just picked this up 2 days ago and used it for the first time today. I experimented with 6 toasts - burnt all 6! After half a loaf in the bin, I had to stand there and pop it out part way, continuously checking the browning every so often.
Toaster only toasts bread on one side. You have to remove the toast turn it around, %26 toast the other side. I have only rarely gotten a nicely toasted piece of toast.
