I've been really happy with this convection oven. The compact size is a dream for my small kitchen. It's like a little kitchen miracle that fits perfectly on my countertop. Despite its size, it bakes, toasts, and roasts like a champ. It's small, but it's definitely mighty!
The Breville compact toaster oven was purchased to replace one that we used every day for 15 years. They "both ovens" look and act the same so I'm looking forward to another 15 years toast in the morning. The Breville ovens are top quality and do a faster job of heating smaller items you don't want to use a range oven for.
This compact smart oven is impressive. It's easy to clean, has 3 rack positions for flexibility, and offers multiple cooking functions. The crumb tray is great for cleanliness, and its compact size blends into the kitchen. It features a convection cooking option, automatic shut-off, and cooks pizza and small bites perfectly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
My feedback is really positive because this Breville compact oven is the perfect addition to our kitchen! The convection cooking makes everything come out perfectly crispy and the 3 rack positions make it easy to cook multiple dishes at once. Plus, it's a breeze to clean! While I wish it had more cooking functions, it still has everything we need. And even with daily use, it's held up really well. Our family loves this oven - it's definitely a game changer!
Great little oven. Single female. Decided on compact vs mini as I wondered if mini would get too hot. Same 1800 wattage. I'm not a chicken skin, French fry, or pizza person so air fryer functions made no sense to upgrade to such a large space hogging size. So far everything is great, looks in less time and still Lear I g to adjust cook times. Wish they included that in the manual. It would be very helpful. Using roasting function for meat, mostly turkey tenderloin and veggies but may try on bake function as heat element function the same. Salmon was my first attempt and it came out perfect. May try a small chicken. Oven gets warm but less than the big oven and cools down quickly. Surprised at how little heat it throws off but I think it's because my average time to cook my items runs 15-20 mins versus 25-30 mins in standard oven. Oh and the bagel function is perfect for me at level 1. Lightly toasted. 3rd attempt they came out a little darker but I had left them in toaster after they were fine.
I like how the Breville Compact Smart Oven packs a punch despite its small size. The interior light made it easy to monitor my food without opening the door, while the non-stick interior made for a hassle-free cleaning experience. The quick heating and automatic shut-off ensured that my food was cooked to perfection without any safety concerns. However, I do wish the crumb tray was more easily accessible. All in all, this little oven is a durable and efficient addition to any kitchen.
We should have purchased the next more expensive oven. Our old Breville oven had better features.
Used approximately 8- 10 times to reheat meals in 10 days. Got error code E01 which occurs when there is a non-resettable issue with the oven.
