Imagine how excited I was to see this available in the freezer section. I purchased the Breyers pistachio ice cream but I will say the ingredient list is not my normal go to ice cream, it has guar gum, and other things that are not necessarily natural and corn syrup. I was under the impression it was a better ice cream, but this one in particular is not upon tasting ice cream, I am not gonna lie. It brings back all those flavors from when I was a child of that artificial green pistachio colored ice cream, with that distinct, pistachio ice cream taste. There is a little wait time involved in having the ice cream harden on the way from the store, but in exchange for hardness, there is creamy texture.
A fourth of the container was empty. I don't know if this is because the tub was filled incorrectly or if this is a marketing scheme. It also tasted nothing like pistachio. More like marrachino cherries.
