I used these LED lights to light my trees in the backyard - 3 lights per tree. They do a great job. The price is right, and with their low power consumption, they cost very little to operate.
I wanted accent lighting for my home, so I bought a set at my local Walmart. It was so much more than I expected, so I ordered another online. They give life to my 15 year old home, and I highly recommend these for any yard improvement!
I am very pleased with these lights. I use them to light the front facade of my house and they do that perfectly. They provide very bright white light, not white-yellow shade like other corded incadesent landscape lights. Someone in the review mentioned that they have blue hue, but maybe they are used to old incadesent lights that are more yellow than white. Only problem I face is to find an extension cable as I would like one of the lights to stretch on the other side of my double garage and I cannot achieve that with the amount of cables that came with this package. It would also be good if they had "T" connector so I could attach few more lights in the other direction of the house. I just installed these lights and I hope because they use LEDs to last long without any replacements.
My husband and I absolutely love these lights. We installed them 1,2,3... I don't understand why the other customer felt that he had to install an outlet. We bought 1 set and have lights on either side of the power source. He didn't read all the directions.
I have a rock garden in the woods in my backyard with a power outlet in it. Had been lighting the trees using spike lights @ $20/pop from Lowes. But they run hot/burn some juice, and moisture wrecks them within a year. Recently bought these Brinkmann lights at Walmart. Am very happy with them because: 1) Very easy to set up. 2) Pretty, soft, bluish white light. 3) Surprisingly bright for LEDs. 4) 3 cents per night to run! 5) Come on at night only. 6) Small and unobtrusive. 7) Good price. 8) Run cool and quiet. 9) Don't seem to attract as many bugs/moths as the Lowes 75 watt lights. Now, question is, will the moisture get them. I have a hunch they will last a while....
I wanted to up light my trees in my backyard, since my husband and I sit on our back porch at night. The best part is the eye that lets it know to turn it off and on (it has a name, I can't remember it). Sorry they have only been installed 2 days, I have no pictures.
I've found this product to be perfect for my landscaping needs. The light is much brighter than most solar products. I am extremely pleased with this product and its cost. I installed the 6 lights that came with the package and purchased 2 additional lights; installation is simple. In my area this product is not readily available in the stores. You might have to hunt around to find it, but it is worth the effort.
At first I had bought solar lights, they were returned within a week, than I tried these. They were alot brighter than I expected. My outlet was in the middle too. I just worked around it. Would like to find where i could buy just one more. Tried the website but it did not help. I hooked them up myself and took only a few minutes. Husband was also quite impressed by the amount of light they gave out. Also not a bad price, even if I did not get a discount due to it being on clearance.
Simple, superbright, energy saving led landscape lights. The quality is okay and the one way run is not very practical. If you want to have the system run in different directions, I recommend spending $5.00 for a cable connector just make sure you have the polarity right. I was surprised with the level of brightness. These give out a much brighter light than my other direct wired led lights. Compared to other systems these are very inexpensive. I bought a second set.
There's no splitter - so your power source must be at the end of the string - not in the middle. Unfortunately, my electrical outlet was by my front door right in the middle of my house. So I had to install an outlet at the front corner of my house, then set up was a breeze. However, the light quality is only so-so and it's a pale blue, not bright white. If you want a bright spotlight, this is not it. However, if you want a soft light, this is pretty good.
