It is so sad that this necklace has two bad reviews. I think that the issue is within the description. It is clear but if you do not read it or skim over it (as all of us do from time to time) you will miss some key words that would other wise prevent your dissatisfaction with the product at hand. Especially considering that they are due to the size of the owl charm and chain it is on. The description clearly states that the chain measures 14" and it also clearly states that it is for "young girls". I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter. She LOVES it! It is small and the chain is small, which makes it a great gift for a young girl- teen years. For $12 my daughter can wear it without worry and if she still enjoys it when she is older we can buy her a longer chain or it could even be placed on a charm bracelet.
14" length for a necklace is smaller than a choker - it hangs on my neck and I am on the thin side. The owl is tiny - smaller than an earring design for a stud earring. It is not easy to return - no options on the return slip to bring in to the store. I am stuck with this.
