The motor on this bath fan appears to be a capacitor start making it powerful than the Broan fan installed previously. Seems quiet. Lithe is very bright so I installed a wall switch dimmer.
I too bought this product a year ago. The led light has gone out, just like most of the complaints seen below. Its a shame the Broan does not step up and offer a replacement for the light. This product is not worth the money and shouldn't be purchased. Please find, not only another product, but another manufacturer to buy a bathroom fan/light.
I wish I'd read all the negative reviews that claim the same issue I'm having, which is the intermittent flashing light, then shutting down. I feel Lowes is partly to blame for this as well, as they stock this junk. Now I have to rip out and redo this crap light, having just finished the drywall. You can imagine how annoyed I am. light started to blink 1,2,3 then pause, only to repeat. Almost like its a code for something, like perhaps you need to buy a replacement light? Well that would be great if they offered replacement parts. Fan works good, looks nice but the light is trash. BEWARE
I bought this light and fan from our local Menards after remodeling our bathroom. The fan and light worked great in the beginning. The light started flickering after 2 months. Month 3 the light quit working all together. Very unimpressed.
Sucks. a year and a half light flickers off and on. Sounds like this is a common issue. I want a replacement light that works. If I had a chance to give it minus 5 stars I would.
Bought less than a year ago. The Fan is so off balance and warped it whines constantly. If it gets left on it shakes so bad it sounds like someone's jackhammering my ceiling. And it's foamed and framed in so literally no way to take it out. Would love a replacement fan and motor for what I paid for it.
Electrician installed this product on 11/6/21. On 9/28/23 the light stopped working. Didn't even last 2 years! What good is a working bathroom fan if you can't see? Now I see the company doesn't offer a replacement light panel?! I'll be darn if I'm going to buy a whole new Fan- light package. Stay away from this product and this company.

I bought one a little over a year ago. I have having l e d light issues. When we turn the light on it blinks 3 time if not more. I called the company and they are sending out another light assembly for it. They have a defect with the electronics or electrical issues with this older style. What happens down the road if I have to replace it yet again? I can not find replacement lights in the stores w Why are stores not carrying these?
