Was having a new roof put on so I bought two of these to have the roofer install them while they installed the shingles. I thought this was a complete kit, but it does not have the tubing and connections to connect with bathroom fans. What additional parts do I need to purchase to make the connections? I do not see any metal tubing etc.
Worked fine for the first year, now anytime there is any wind the flapper makes noise and cold air constantly comes into the bathroom. It would be nice if just the flapper could be ordered as a replacement part.
The vent comes with a bird screen which needs to be removed if used as a dryer vent. It will get blocked with lint in less then 2 months if not removed. Your instructions say nothing which leads me to believe it is not approved as a dryer vent. Either come out and say this vent is not for dryer use or state that the bird screen must be removed if used as a dryer vent.
