Great fan, will operate in the summer months on its own to pull moisture out
Very quiet and powerful fan, wiring was a little difficult to be able to use all the features but I really like the humidity sensor especially after my son's 1/2 hour shower!
Works well. Not noisy. The light is fantastic. Would recommend it.
I've had my fan installed for almost a year now and it is a great fan. I really like the humidity control feature and now will not own a fan without it. I love the timed run feature - just enable it and walk away. My only dink on this fan was the humidity control was oversensitive last summer and ran on humid days, even with the air conditioning on. I did not contact NuTone about it though and if it happens again this summer I will call to try and resolve it. I still love this fan.
Wish you could adjust the color of the lighting. A little more yellow than I would like it to be
This a nice unit. I replaced my old original exfaust with this unit. It is quite a bit larger so it required some cutting of the ceiling sheetrock and removing the old fan box. This is install is probably not for your average homeowner and will require some electrical and mechanical know how. The automatic humidity control sensor did not seem to work so I just wired the unit to bypass the humidity sensor and now the fan comes on and stays on with the switch. Other than that it operates fine and the LED light is bright.
The humidity control really does not control the humidity. Basically the fan comes comes on and stays on just like the main fan switch. Otherwise the fan and light are fine.
Thought it would be quieter than it is , not to happy about the noise
Humidistate came non fuctional and had to wait another 2 weeks for it to come in and had to pay the handyman another trip to install it
So much for "Made in USA". Unit has the humidity control, which is inoperable. Ran humidistat to 50%, turned shower on full hot. Humidity was measured at 93% after 15 minutes in bathroom, but fan would not come on. When cycled switch, the red light on the humidistat panel came on for a couple seconds and went out, but fan never rotated. Bought Nutone based upon reputation, I grew up with their products in the 50's and 60's but the quality is gone, so sad. Guess I will be removing and returning the unit, tried their customer service number but could not get through.
