Great product, easy to set up, light is bright and fan is quiet.
Device was ready to go witin 20 minutes of unboxing. The hadest part was to hold and secure the device while installing by myself.
We love it due different light color make the room nice.
The colors are nice. The fan still seems loud to me and the switch doesn't seem to work on the timer correctly. It's much nicer than the fan I had though. My son-in-law installed it and did a great job. It seemed easy and didn't take too long. He did have to cut the hole larger but it fit perfectly. Good size.
I replaced an old 1950's steel fan with this model and here's the few things you may want to know before buying it. First, it requires a constant 120v feed, so you can't work it on a switch...you (at least by code) have to run it through a GFCI/AFCI and then control it with either the remote or the app. Power goes out, or breaker trips, you're re-syncing everything. Second, the wiring from the PCB to the grille requires some tiny fingers/hands as there's minimal slack. I had to get my nephew to do that part. Also, it requires the completion of the electrical circuit to actually function, meaning if your grille craps out, or the PCB unit dies, even though the fan plugs into the electrical housing separately, you can't run the fan. The fan plug only gets power when the PCB's circuit is completed. Here's the good, non-picky stuff. It looks REALLY cool and works great. This thing sucks the moisture from my shower no problem and it's nice and calming with a good blue or purple. The install was straight forward in terms of mounting, wiring, etc. which was nice. Syncing the remote and the app were both pretty simple too. Also, NuTone/Broan tech support are AWESOME. Better than ANY company I've EVER dealt with and you're talking to someone in I.T! I had some issues with parts and they were considerate, prompt, and had my parts out quickly. Even with the quirks I mentioned above, just knowing that their support is there makes the fan worth it for me....plus like I said, it's just cool! Now if they could integrate a bluetooth speaker into this model, we'd be on to something!
A nice light, somewhat challenging trying to install wiring and light/fan switch. An electrician might have made this job easier.
I bought this light for a condo bathroom. The white light works but the color light does not properly function, only lightly partially. I've disconnected and reconnected. Nothing seems to work! Any suggestions?!
I cannot turn off light. Always stays on color mode. White light turns off correctly but color doesn't have turn off feature
Bought 2 of these and neither connected to anything! Not the phone, not the wall control or anything! Called technical support three times and all they could say is flip the breaker and flip it back on after 10 minutes and still nothing changed on both! GARBAGE PRODUCT DO NOT BUY!!
After opening I removed the fan, as instructed, and thought to plug it in the wall (it has a common male end) to ensure function. It worked fine. After installation and final assembly (naturally) it turns out the unit has a faulty circuit board/connection in the plastic light. The last step is to plug in the two small connections for (I assume) the remote control and the light. With the power on, I plug the small one in with no problem but the larger of the two causes a flash of the light and the fan gets a quick shot of electricity, but that's all. The unit will not run or light fully plugged in. Only when I am plugging in or unplugging that it gets a very quick connection and then dropped just as fast. Way overpriced and about to be returned!
