I think this item is excellent I have been using this typewriter for years,and it's ribbons are very dependable.
It arrived in a timely manner and works wonderfully, just like I had wanted.

Thanks I found my old typewriter in the closet. ANF I remember type ribbon code so I was able to buy the typing ribbon
I'm not sure whether this is actually a Brother ribbon or a generic version. I noticed that it came in a clear plastic bag, no obvious manufacturer's label, and that my old one had the company name molded into the plastic in a place where this one didn't. It did work when I tested it typing just a few words. (I haven't yet needed to use it.)
not black enough, like it was old stock
First of all, I will say right now that it has 1 star only because it was required!! THIS WAS NOT CORRECTABLE! Not unless I used something like white-out. I don't recommend this at all! DON'T BUY IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO PERFECT YOUR TYPING SKILLS!!!
This is the correct product, but it seems as though the "gear" in it is not working properly, therefore it is useless, however it is not worth the hassle of returning it for less than $8.
