It’s my first ever serger. I love it! It is so easy to use! I found easy videos on YouTube on how to use it. I like the fact that the threading lines are color coded. When you first slide open the door it looks intimidating but once you figure it out it’s super easy! I watched one YouTube video and figured the threading out within minutes. The knobs are easy to turn and the stitches are wonderful. It’s about the size of a home sewing machine. Maybe a little wider. It fits perfectly on my small table with my sewing machine. It has definitely helped my leggings look more professional and the stitches hold nicely!
Easy to use- see video for the DX on YouTube. Best price here at Walmart. Delivery to my home was fast, package well. Happy I made the purchase. The DX is the newest version and the D is the old. Many reviews are on YouTube. Direction manual is easy to understand. Pay attention to page 25 of directions for quick reference and it will get your project perfect. Overall it looks complicated but it EASY ago use..
For the price,it's great! I wish I bought it earlier .It definitely does great job and I am happy with my purchase.
Easy to thread. Attachable thread-rubbish-bin. Uses regular needles. Compact; fits easily in a 13" cube shelf section. Inexpensive. Plastic cover. Immediately available through Walmart delivery. Better than some previous sergers costing 2-3 times more. Highly recommended!
I just received my Brothers Serger, 1034DX. Everything was included in the box, The cover, DVD and instruction book And all the tools that come with it. I had a Brother's Serger 1034, I used it for 10 years and I loved it. This one is very similar. I highly recommend this Serger.
This is my first time using a serger. YouTube videos really help to use it. I havent done a lot on it but I do love the clean finish.
I purchased the Brother Serger but it was missing parts. I contacted Walmart and they told me to contact Brother customer service. So, I did, and they told me to contact Walmart. Talk about passing the buck. What the heck? Nobody wants to take responsibility for the parts, so I guess I'm going to return it. Not sure what else to do.
I recieved a used machine. There is obvious thread fuzz and build up in the machine and where fabric knife is. also one of the needles is broken.
My serger did not come with any attachments in the box, nor a cover. Only what came directly on the serger. Walmart says to go to brother.. brother says go to Walmart.. I just want the parts
Doesn't even work, prolly a dud I sew, read the Manuel it's threaded correctly it just won't stitch ! There's a metal piece that is bent or broken on the inside im thinking that's the problem. and I'm taking it back to the store.
