This machine has impressed me. It takes two thicknesses of quilting with no problem. It has many stitches to choose from. I love the light and drop-in bobbin. There is a nice sound and feel when you sew. I have sewn off and on for many years and really like this machine. The price is great and best of all....it was factory refurbished. Came packed just like a new machine and really fast shipping. Good for any level of sewer.
this is a great machine for a good price
Great product! Runs great!
This is the best machine Ihave ever owned. It handles like a dream and so easy to use.
I've been wanting a new sewing machine for years. I'm not a true beginner since I have sewn some in the past, but for simple projects like hemming and small stuff. I had a old singer given to me that broke several years ago and I never got around to replacing it for one reason or other. I was prompted recently to look for one when my husband was given several pants that needed letting down and I was thinking I'd like to make a sofa cover (?). I didn't really want a machine with so many stitch options, but for the price I thought what the hay. The reviews were good, too, which was a plus. Anyway, they thought I wouldn't get it for a couple of weeks, but I got it within the week. It's a beautiful machine, clean and new with extra feet, needles, bobbins and other stuff. It runs smoothly. The instructions are somewhat difficult regarding areas that I'm not familiar, but with some experimenting I'm figuring out how to use the different features. I'm looking forward to trying the button hole foot and attachment for sewing buttons on. Pay attention to the warnings, though, especially regarding bobbin size. They make their own bobbins, but it will take my singer ones but not the others. My only complaint is that the storage compartment doesn't hold the extra items in, particularly the small things, so you'll need a sewing box or something. I'm not sure what they mean by refurbished, but as one reviewer stated it must mean that they have taken the kinks out. I'm totally happy! I may have a new hobby.
Bought refurbished by the manufacturer. It was ready to pick up quickly, worked perfectly right out of the box, and i have been using it trouble free ever since!
A really nice machine
I bought this to do regular sewing and mending; it exceeded my expectations for ease of use. Good machine for the price and I'm glad I purchased it.
It does what it is suppose to. I have no complaints.
This is my first sewing machine, and I love it! Only had it two weeks, and so far so good. Its very smooth and quiet. It also comes with a few supplies: needles and thread, etc. I do have to re-thread often because the string keeps getting stuck in one part of the machine, and that slows my sewing down a lot, but I'm new to sewing so maybe that's something I'm doing wrong? I do recommend this machine.
