I'm impressed at how much thick material this handles. I was calling it a beast, until I made some projects with chiffon. It handled the delicate fabric beautifully, & I love the results. I've tested several feet, with different settings, & haven't had a single issue, & it's been so much fun. I love this machine!
I like because it is more advance and sew perfeclty as I expected
I want to call this an “entry level” sewing machine but I think it's much better than that with 100 different stitches, automatic needle threading, bobbin winding, etc. we bought it to make masks during the Covid-19 outbreak and we've made lots for ourselves, family, and friends. Easy to learn to use for novices although the instructions aren't always real clear but, the instructions are there and very thorough. Priced right at $150.
I received my machine yesterday as a Mothers Day gift to myself. I absolutely love it. If it continues to work as well as it does now I will be very happy . So far I am amazed at the beautiful job it does . And the ease of using it. I am not sure I agree with the person that says it isn't a machine for beginning sewers . I think anyone could learn to use it quickly . I had not sewn much in the last 30 years . But this machine made it easy . I have made two dog outfits since yesterday and I am very happy. I am adding a pic of my dog wearing his new shirt made with this machine
This sewing Machine gives me a incredible amount of stiches to pick from. Looking forward to being creative again, after long absence from not being able to sew.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this Project Runway edition Brother sewing machine! This is my first time using a computerized machine and I thought it would be tricky, but it's so easy! All of the stitches are listed right on the machine to input. I usually just see blankets and pillows, but I think it's going to be easy to get started on clothes with this! Brother machines never fail!
So far, so good! I love the simplicity and ease of using this machine straight out of the box. It's been many years since I've sewn and trust me, I'm not a seamstress by any means...I bought this to make masks and I'm sure it won't be an issue with this machine!
I like that it has a self threader Makes life so much easier. I highly recommend reading your manual from end to end. 100 different stitches that is awesome. It doesn't have a handle to carry it. But it does have a place to insert your hand so you can carry it. Its just weird. The foot peddle is light and plastic. I can see it eventually being damaged It has a small storage box for your bobbins, ripper, etc, etc. I dont particular care how it opens When you pull it out your items fall out. I wish it could have been made to flip. Sewing machines aren't made like they use to But all in all I like my sewing machine. Just wondering how long it will last before it breaks done. My last brother sewing machine lasted 28 years.
Its amazing sewing machine and it has great performances. I like all the features that comes with like 100 unique built-in sewing stitches and LCD screen and the accessories that comes with the machine. The Automatic needle threader that threads the needle for you, with just the touch of a lever does not work that well. It takes a few tries to get it threaded. I wouldnt recommend this to beginner who just learning how to use a sewing machine. Its not user friendly. I would recommend to someone more advanced sewing skills. It offers a lot advanced features for more highly skilled jobs. I highly satisfied with this sewing machine it does a beautiful stitches and powerfully. I recommend it.
Work great for the first month then kept seezing up. Did all the trouble shooting got it going again. Now nothing i do can get it to work it froze up and wont work anymore taking it back
