This item came in a box from a person, not from Walmart! It arrived in a toner box! When I opened it, there was a drum inside, but it looked used and was not in sealed plastic, like toner comes. I installed it anyway, even though I am not feeling like it is brand new. My other drum no longer worked, so I had no choice. When I ordered an paid for this item from Walmart, I fully expected a brand new drum factory sealed in the right box with instructions. I received none of that. I will never purchase from Walmart again because of this and I will make sure to tell all my friends and business associates.
Replacing the drum was what appeared on the screen of the printer, so that's what I ordered. All it needed was the toner cartridge. So I ordered the toner, installed it in the original drum. I requested a return of the unused drum and was denied a return because it wasn't damaged. That makes no sense at all. Therefore, will never purchase anything from Brother again.
My Brother Monochrome Laser HLl2390DW laser printer came with this ink drum, from the factory. While the TN-730 says it is good for 1,200 pages, this DR-730 is advertised at producing a whopping 12,000 pages. After printing only approximately a hundred pages, my Brother printer abruptly ceased functioning and said I *have* to replace the cartridge. No "ink low" warning; no gradual decrease in quality going grey. It just stopped in the middle of an important print job.
Installed first week of June. Printer already says to replace drum in July.
It came destroyed! Run over and packaged in a new box! Good luck getting a full refund if you buy multiples!
