Wow! Am I impressed? I am a 25-year HP user, and there is no turning back. After two months with my Brother MCF-J5855DW, I now intend to replace all five of my HP printers. This printer was easy to install and a breeze to get connected to the WIFI. I have Zero complaints. I don't even have an I wish it did. It does it all!!! It is a dream color printer and wirelessly fast, too.
We replaced our Brother printer that was 12 years old with this model and it was a great decision. The setup was super easy and we were able to connect 3 computers wirelessly with no issues. The print quality is very good and the printing time is adequate for our needs. This is a prefect all in one printer for our small business.

Great product
Continuing with the "brother tradition". This is the 4th brother printer. I print most of the birthday and anniversary cards using Avery s/w, astrobright card stock paper 65 lb./176 Gsm and brother printer. I print duplex, color. This one is a bigger printer than my old Brother MFC-J470DW. It was easier to print and very much faster. To print about 100 birthday cards it took me about 20-25 minutes with the only interruptions being running out of paper in the tray. Till now (less than 2 weeks), I have printed about 200 birthday/anniversary cards on card stock paper and I am happy with it. Ink probably started at MCY at 2000 each and black at 2500. Now it shows 1350 for M and Y, 1800 for C and 2300 for Black. Yes, color photos take more ink. One same is below. But then I am not generally upset at small stuff. It once complained about printer needing attention and I was stuck for some time until I removed and re-added the printer back to the computer and that was gone. Hope the printer gives better messages about the issue.
This printer is the best one I have ever had. It is fast. It was easy for me, as a non-techo person, to set up. I like the quality of the print. The copy function is also good quality.
I like the way it looks however I found it difficult to set up. Other Brother printers that I have purchased were simpler and also came with “extras” that purchasing the product made it well worthwhile. ..not this one. I'm considering a return…
I bought this printer based on the good reviews and claimed ink efficiency but it's been a love/hate relationship, I must admit. When I can connect (wi-fi), everything is hunky dory. The printer is fast, clean and efficient. That being said, I have pulled most of my hair out trying to keep this printer talking to my computer (I've never gotten it to talk to my wife's computer however). Some of these problems seem to relate to my mesh wi-fi setup but even when I confirm that the printer and computer are on the same network, I still end up having to delete and re-install the printer in order to get it to print. If this were a one-off thing, I'd let it go but just when I think all the bugs have been worked out, it starts all over again. I think I'm about ready to go back to a wired setup and save myself the anguish.
Did not receive order
I would just like to give it back and forget the mess I have been in with all of you for nearly a week. All I wanted was a printer and here I sit with 3 of them . I'm 93 and I have been near a brake down for nearly a week. Just get these things out of my driveway and my house and I never want to here the word Walmart again.
