I had read other reviews that recommended getting this when purchasing the embroidery machine. So glad I did. It has everything in it I would need.
Individually, products would have been much more expensive. I AM NOT having second thoughts on this purchase. Well worth the cost.
This kit came with more than I anticipated. The pre-wound embroidery thread bobbins were a great surprise and I am so thankful they were part of the package. There were also empty bobbins for many other colors of regular thread or embroidery thread. There was also a pair of tread cutting scissors so that you can get really close to the fabric to snip the embroidery thread.
This is my first time embroidering and this kit is amazing. Now I know what I need to get our logo sewn on our clothes!
This is a great value but the prewound bobbins do not have the 90 wt thread used with the PE770 Brother embroidery machine--:(
I just started with embroidery, so Brother Pacesetter Embroidery Starter Kit had everything which is needed. I felt this has saved lot of time for me. I have doen basic embroidery so far and this kit very handy. Has 6 colors of silk thread, lot of bobbins and stabilizer sheets.
This starter kit goes great with any Brother Embroidery or regular sewing machine. The pre-wound bobbins fit perfectly in the Brother machines and the extra needles come in handy. To purchase everything separately would be much more expensive so this kit is a great value.
I got this kit to go with my new Brother PE 500 embroidery machine. I like that it had everything I needed to get started with my first project (some simple bibs) so I didn't have to make a bunch of trips to the fabric store to pick up odds and ends. I think the pair of stainless steel snips is my favorite thing of all. Tiny and precise, it's able to clip even the shortest stray thread and I think it helped me make my projects look more professional and finished. You'll need to buy most of these things eventually (extra bobbins are a must), and you could just buy them as you need them, but I think it's really nice to have it all to begin with. Also, this way you know it will all work with your machine.
If you are just starting out with a Brother embroidery machine (or if you're going to gift one to someone else), this is a great starter kit because it seriously comes with everything you possibly could need for some basic embroidery. Lots of bobbins, 6 different color spools, those white stabilizer sheets. However if you've had an embroidery machine before or already know what you're doing, then maybe it would be better to just purchase the items you actually need individually.
I am so glad I purchased this item. It came with embroidery supplies I didn't even realize I would need. A very helpful kit!
