Works GREAT!! Easy to use, and very clean cuts.. I LOVE the scanner!
My Grandaughter loves it keeps her busy for hours and great for school projects so many projects for her to do
Honestly, it never occurred to me to get a device that could scan and cut. Once I made the plunge and got my CM350e, there was no going back. I use it all the time including: creating labels and signs with adhesive vinyl, creating stickers for a variety of purposes from labeling things to making gifts special, creating stencils that I use to make other products like decoupage, and using Heat Transfer Vinyl to make special items of clothing. I have begun to experiment with some unique applications like creating pop-up books for the grandbabies. I love this machine.
The Brother ScanNCut2 is great for paper crafters. It saves time and money. It is fairly easy to use too.
I bought this Brother ScanNCut2 5 years ago, I have a Tshirt Business and it works perfect... Thiught the silloutte was better but it wasn't with this one I can Scan and cut my custumer desighs without a computer, just print, scan and cut and press ... any Vinyl and Printable vinyl and sublimation paper... The best purchase ever. Trying to buy another one but were out of stock. Than you.
I wish it would do better at scanning more complicated stamped images!
So far, the machine itself is amazing. I think it is going to be a lot of fun to use. The mat, on the other hand, is a disaster! When it was cutting, it moved over and began to cut itself! It's too sticky! I am hoping it improves with use. It ruined a piece of my Stampin Up whisper white paper!
The Machine is a Good Machine, I don't know how long the Machine is designed to hold up its proper functions......I have cutting issues I have used the machince fir at least 1 yr.
My husband purchased this product for me about two years ago. I do a lot of paper crafting. I have found that it can scan about 90% of my stamped images then cuts up the other 10%. I find myself still purchasing cutting dies for stamp sets I like as I can't always count on this machine scanning and cutting accurately. The USB only works when taking files from my computer to load on to the CM350. It doesn't work when trying to scan and save images directly from my machine. Frustration beyond frustration when scanning hand drawn images or boxes. This model only scans the outside of your image. It can take me an hour of scanning, rescanning before this machine has a clear enough image to print one of my boxes. I could have cut by hand 100 boxes with my Acuucut or Bigz dies. All I can say is don't toss your cutting dies! If cutting a box depending on size it takes 2.5-3.5 minutes per box. Go with the scan cut that has 600 dpi's or higher. Make sure if you're a paper crafter that you get the model that can edit the image and scan the inside and outside of the image too.
The mats are terrible after a couple uses, the scanning feature is worthless, extremely time consuming , way too many steps for simple cuts outside of anything preprogrammed which are all very dated and super simple designs like a circle anything else your lining up and sizing 2-5 pieces to cut a simple flower. I was excited to get the machine but for me it's been a big disappointment.
