I have a cricut machine and when i received this i was a bit skeptical on how well it would work! BUT i found that it is easier to use than cricut snd has the feature of being able to draw or make your own design and will cut it ! I love it! Some of the accessories you may want to buy might be a little more expensive than for the cricut but not much more! Great functionality and easy to use! I absutely love it!

I didn't have much experience with these types of machines but now I'm hooked. The machine was easy to setup and download the software. The machine is also very quiet when cutting and gets it done fast. There are so many different projects this machine can do and I'm excited with the possibilities of all the crafts I can create.

I made the first project, the little paper box. I was fascinated watching it cut the shape. My grandson was also fascinated when I let him pick a pattern and have it cut out of card stock for him. I have cut a few things out of felt also. Next I want to try to make an appliqué out of fabric for a sewing project. I just have to experiment with different fabrics. I can't wait to try out all the features of this machine.

It can do so many things and the scan and cut function is amazing. The scan accuracy is fantastic. Now it is plug and play but the more advanced crafts needed a little more learning time as you need to know pressure and dimension and certain functions for certain projects. Overall, I was able to make a simple gift box to customizable planner stickers to vinyl stickers for labels and more. It came with 251 designs and you can purchase our download many more. The Canvas Workspace is super easy to use as well. The touchscreen option on the machine is big and easy to use as well. I am really happy with this machine and I also own Cricut machines and I feel this machine dies more.

I received my SDX85M, yesterday, and I absolutely love it. I have the Cricut Maker, also. But, my ScanNCut will be used much more. I love the auto blade technology. I've completed a project, already. All of my drawings and outlines can be easily scanned and cut. I think both machines are great, but I like the ScanNCut the best. Why did I wait this long to try it? Don't know! So happy!!

I love that it has a built in screen and that i don't need another device hooked up to it in order to create projects. It takes a little bit of practice to learn to use it but is pretty simple thereafter. Made some appliques to put on balloons for a gender reveal so far.
This product is so complicated that you really need a class to learn it. A class where when you're doing something wrong but no idea what, you will have someone there to give guidance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother scanNcut The Brother Scan n Cut is a sophisticated machine. It is sleek and modern looking with a feminine touch. I experimented with the machine for about 2 hours after opening the box to try to get familiar with it. I'm still not sure what all can be done with it and I look forward to exploring all of its capabilities. I did on so the little projects in the book and made a small 3-d box with a crown on it. It resembles a ring box, but made from thick paper. It came out exactly as expected. So far, I have cut paper with the machine. I will be going to buy vinyl and transfer tape to see what all it is capable of. It doesn't come with much in regards to the crafting supplies. You can download designs directly on the machine, but has to be done with a computer or flash drive. It would have been nice to connect it up to your cellphone directly to it to save outlines of pictures. I wish it printed not just cut. The machine feels very limited in that regard. Overall great machine, but still need more time, it's a huge learning curve, and many materials to purchase to really be able to dig into all its capabilities.

I was so excited to get it, but once I pulled it out of the box it was very overwelming, and unless you have computer capabilities and time to watch videos to understand the product it just is overwelming. The accessories for this brand too are hard to find and expensive. I wish this came with more accessories, and more of a bigger info how to use book since not everyone has video watching capabilities.
