I have always used Sam's club for all my office needs and this is a major item for me and my office.
After years of using various compatible toners, I decided to go back the product that I know probably produces the highest print quality. With the two-pack Brother toner package, I should have plenty of time to determine if the original product is superior. In the final analysis, quality and reliability, not cost, should determine a purchase decision.
I liked that the packaging was secure to keep the cartridge from damage during shipping. None of the cheaper brands are the same high quality as Brother. I have found that out the hard way.
Replacement cartridge works and performs as expected - no problems. Worth the few extra dollars to avoid aftermarket cartridge uncertainty/issues. This should last quite some time with our limited usage (household).
Brother is not the best quality product but I do have the printer the cartridge belongs to so I ordered it. It arrived on time, fair price and quality.
Cartridge is good but I don't feel it generates 2600 pages. Overall good job for the price
This cartridge caused all prints to have grayish smeared bands on them, giving a bad ‘xerox' look. I found an article online saying these were symptoms of a defective cartridge and to replace it. So i replaced it with another one from the printer's direct website and the problem was immediately remedied. It sucks I wasted so much money on a defective cartridge. My recommendation: only buy from an authorized source. This was a ripoff.
