The label seems to be water proof (haven't tried but has coating finish on it) so applied to some kitchen wares (coffee bins). I've been using it to tag my personal items, bags, wires, etc. Width is perfect. When peeling the label off from the release liner (or backing paper, glassine?), make sure the fingers are not oily.
The correct label tape cartridge for a designated labeling machine works wonders. So far, the cartridges have worked smoothly and somewhat efficiently. The tape is bright white and the adhesive backing is just sticky enough to help label "stay put" without being impossible to peel off in case of labeled object metamorphosis(go figure)!
1/4" Brother TZ tapes are not readily available elsewhere. they are perfect for labelling the spines of CD jewel cases.

Bought a month ago, very practical! Works well and got cheap on Thanksgiving weekend!
I use this tape to label my cubbies and desks at school! I like the size because it is not too large and it is easy to remove when needed. It is my go to tape for labeling!!
Goes great with my brother labeler and very bold and thick letters for the price you can't go wrong.
The TZe tapes are ok but they don't hold up near as well as the original TZ tapes. How do i know this? Because i still have a few of the old TZ tape cartridges. Oh yes the originals won't fit into the newer model machines. I have found this to be very frustrating. I do have to say that the TZe tapes are better than alot of the cheaper knockoffs.
These work fine, just smaller than expected. I will order a larger size for a more standard-size labeling tape next time.
