You can't beat this value. It works great, has plenty of power (somebody else said it doesn't have power...I think that person had old batteries), and it's less than the cost of buying a couple of ordinary toothbrushes. I was surprised at how long the supplied batteries lasted. Then I replaced them with 2 rechargeables, and now I'm set. You do hit the off button when using this, so you just have to hold it differently. I wish I could buy replacement heads, but they don't seem to be available except from the manufacturer with a $6.95 shipping charge.
I had a horrific accident 3 years ago, where I shattered the bones inmy left elbow. I underwent 4 major surgeries to repair the damage and received titanium implants for the bones that I destroyed. Extensive hand therapy restored the use of my left elbow, arm, and hand, but I found that I just couldn't use a normal toothbrush. Then I found the Brushpoint system at Walmart and could do normal dental hygiene just like everyone else! And I told my Hand Therapist and Dental Hygienist about this great Dental Hygiene System. Thanks Walmart and Brushpoint for a truly innovative product!!!
I like this tooth brush very much, it does a great job and was a steal for the price I paid!
I love the price the performance and I have used this toothbrush for almost a month. I also don't mind paying the manufacturer for replacement parts. I will purchase two more for family members. Forgot to mention I have BRACES, I love it.
Just used the brushpoint tooth bush and i think it is a close comparison to having your teeth cleaned at the dentist. The only thing i had trouble figuring out, at first, was how to remove the floss tool to attached the other ones. You have to remove the head from the tooth brush, then pull down on the bottom part and it releases the floss attachment. The only other grip i have is that the floss breaks really easily, and the spaces b/t some of my teeth are very tight . But for the price you can't beat it! Only the top part of the bristles rotates, the bottom one do not. I'm sure its does just as good of a job as the more expensive ones out there. The one i bought was $7 and it came with 3 brushes, 2 polishing cup brushes, two of the sulcus tips, 1 gum stimulator, and 20 floss replacements. Definitely a good investment.
I bought this toothbrush about two weeks ago. I was also confused as to how to get the replacement heads out. I figured it out. I love it.. I think it has too much power. The toothbrush actually irritates/sends a shock to my front teeth only on the top though. It might be a personal problem seeming that I did hit them on something many years ago. The (idk the name of it) little rotating bristles is my best part. I am using the crest 3D whitening toothpaste and can see the difference. I paid $7.50 in store. It's well worth it and I will be ordering two more so that I can administer cleanings and be the at home dentist of the family :)
This is a very good toothbrush. The only thing I don't like about it is the turn off button is right where you put your thumb and I accidently turn it off. Other than that it does a very good job on my teeth. I think it is a very good price also.
I received this toothbrush in the mail today and have used it twice already! This toothbrush is great for those who just cannot get the hang of traditional flossing and those who have trouble brushing their teeth in a circular motion with a manual toothbrush ( I always want to go into the bad habit of going back and forth with my toothbrush because it feels more natural) I have always had trouble flossing for some reason.. I can't hold the string right or something and this takes all that away for me, since all I have to do is hold the tooth brush just like I always do when brushing my teeth.. It was GREAT to finally be able to floss and brush correctly! The only complaints I have about this product so far is that the turn off switch is right where you were normally comfortably hold your toothbrush. I accidentally shut it off twice! Also the gum stimulator hurt a bit ( I shouldn't say hurt more like uncomfortable) maybe the plastic it is made out of is too hard or something or maybe I just have to use it for awhile until my gums toughen up? I also have a feeling I will be replacing batteries quite often as I have only used it twice, and it already sounds like it is weakening. All in all this is a great toothbrush, like I said, especially for those who have trouble with traditional flossing or with brushing in a circular motion! I also find it to be a great deal and the replacement packages are not bad either!
I really like the way this brush makes my teeth feel and it massages your gums at the same time. The only thing that concerns me is how long the batteries will last. They have been woking now for about a week. So don;t know yet how long they will last. I thought this toothbrus was something different when I ordered it so I am probably going to return a few of them as I ordered 7 for family members and they don't want them because they are battery operated. I love mine though.
The Brushpoint Vital Health tooth brush worked great for about the first month of use. I thought it an excellent value for getting so many cool attachments with it and for the ease of use. Especially when comparing it to other electronic toothbrush products right next to it, which only had one or maybe two heads and no attachments yet were 3-4 times the price tag. Anyways as I said the product worked great for about a month, after which for some reason the motor within the brush compartment just died and failed to work from that point on. There was no water in the housing and I changed out the batteries 4 times to see if this was the problem but to no avail. When I find the receipt I will be returning the product to the place of purchase and getting another one since it is a good product overall just obviously needs much better quality since a toothbrush shouldn't fail after a mere month of use. In retrospect though I still think it's a pretty cool product especially for the price point. When I get a new one and it lasts longer than a month I may update my review as it did seem to perform fairly well during the month it was working.
