I loved the set so much I bought two of them, we often have people over for dinner and I couldnt stand to mix and match! NOW, if this set had a serving platter and large serving bowls to match, that would be awesome, but getting solid colored bowls and platters works well, too.
We bought these dishes and they were so cute we decided to decorate our kitchen around them. I bought multi striped rugs, made curtains to match, we even painted a few of the (white) back splash tiles some of the colors in them. They are not quite as bright as the picture shows (and I had read that in reviews so I worried would not like them before they arrived) BUT no worries. I think the slightly muted colors look better and more classy than if they were really bright. Our 4 kids love them! They are heavy but this suits us, no one has problems with this and they do not knock over as easily as plastic dishes would. I bought 4 sets and use them daily but plan to use them with casual company as well. Great purchase (nothing came broken or fingerprinted either, as some of the other reviews had stated.)
I just love these dishes. They are colorful and very user friendly in my kitchen. I have grandchildren so I need durable dishes. This stoneware definately is well made. The colors are stylish and match with most other items I have in my kitchen. This purchase was both practical and economical. These dishes could be used by most families every day or even for special occasions because they are so decorative.
I am happy with my purchase - I got the dishes and one plate was chipped in shipping. I called and customer service was so nice. Instead of making me ship the whole thing back, they just shipped me the one plate that I needed. This was my first order with Brylane so I was not sure what to expect, but I am very pleased and I would order from them again.
I like this set of dishes very much. The colors are wonderful and go with just about everything. When I received them, one of the cup handles was broken. I called them and within 5 days I had a new cup. Pretty good customer service! I like them so much that I have ordered another set and I gave my other dishes away!
The cereal bowls are quite heavy and very large, while the coffee cups are lightweight and smaller than they look in the photo. I purchased 2 sets to get service for 8. The plates are heavy and nice, though 2 of them were somewhat out of round. I'm keeping the set, even though the cups are a bit of a disappointment.
The product is easily scratched. Can be used for everyday meals. Great thing about it is the deep soup bowls, and the fact that it is dishwasher/microwave safe. Love the big coffee mugs that came with the set. However, one cup came broken. I STILL haven't received the replacement yet. Waited a long time for the delivery of the set, now waiting a long time for the replacement cup.
Pretty and sets a happy table. Not good if you microwave often. They absorb heat fast. Handle carefully.
Wish I could give this NO STARS! This set of JUNK is the worst thing I've ever bought in my entire life. EVERY plate, EVERY bowl, EVERY cup is flawed! And flawed BADLY! A 4 year old could have done a better job. Maybe Brylane should consider INSPECTING something before they ship it. It would cost me too much to send this JUNK back, so I'll just donate it to Goodwill & take the tax write off. DO NOT BUY THESE DISHES; YOU WILL REGRET IT! As for me, I will NEVER, EVER buy anything from Brylane again.
I have a set off these and love them. Accidentally broke a dish. Need replacement but I've looked at site three time and had gone up every time!<br />Not happy!!
