We bought 2 strands over a year ago and recently purchased 2 more strand to hang overhead in our outdoor courtyard. The strands give off good lighting with a perfect distance between bulbs. Our hang an average of 8-10' overheard and illuminate the area nicely.
These lights are available from a number of vendors. However some don't include bulbs. These work well, look great, came with bulbs and cost less on Hayneedle than on other sites.
Brightens up my patio.
I love them, perfect. I noticed these same lights on the rooftop bar, Vendue in Charelston, SC which was named best rooftop bar since 2007! They looked great there and look great lighting up my small back deck area. One bulb didn't work, but not worried about it.
We live in an Oceanside town and the best outdoor cafes along the ocean have these lights to gently light the beach and waters edge. Its an added ambience with a festive touch. We found them here on hayneedle and so glad we did. As you can see from our photo we strung them in our yard and put them on a timer.
Purchased this string of lights for our covered patio and they are very well made and just what we wanted. We really like that you can put up to 100w bulbs in them.
I have always wanted to put these on my deck while we are out at our fire pit, and entertaining, but never could figure out how i could hang them, then i saw a picture of them hanging from deck railing. Something so simple has never crossed my mind! They look great, shine the perfect amount of light at night, and very well constructed. The only bummer was that one of the light bulbs didn't work, so order extra bulbs when purchasing.
Great looking lights and heavy duty enough to be outside year long. Within a month or two of putting them up, though, one of the lightbulbs has already burnt out and they don't provide extras with the kit. Besides that, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend for the price.
We loved the look of these once up so much that we decided to come back for more!
These lights are very pretty. You need to install cable that you will fasten these lights to. If you have an overhang or pergola, you may not need a cable. We strung them from our home (with an eye hook)to a tree. My husband and I were able to hang one strand in about an hour. Watch as many videos as you can about people who have installed similar lights. This will help you decide how you can best hang them. I gave these lights 4 stars because the accompanying directions didn't give advice on how to hang them.
