I was happy to find a cable connector to link my ergonomic keyboard to my mini-laptop. As a full-time college student, it is really helpful to use a full-sized keyboard when typing up term papers and projects - helps avoid hand cramping from all the typing. :-) This product does what I need, without being a big, bulky accessory to lug around.
I had no problems with these. They successfully connected my cheap KVM to both a Dell and an IBM laptop. Glad I bought them.
I purchased this product for my wireless keyboard and mouse for the PS3. It works very well and have never had a problem with it.
when i connected this adapter to my keyboard and mouse it worked just fine. it still continues to work and i am very satisfied with it. sometimes my keyboard disconnects and i have to unplug and re-plug it. this does not happen often. this is because i have an old keyboard. so if it seems that your adapter is not working its not the adapter its the keyboard. the overall price is pretty reasonable even after tax and shipping. i also appreciated that this connects your mouse and keyboard through one usb. this comes in handy when you only have two usb ports on your computer. i highly recommend this adapter.
This cable works beautifully. I needed it in order to use my 5-button mouse (I program the side buttons to do cut and paste, and it's so handy that I feel crippled with any other mouse!). I haven't tried using the keyboard port, but that's useful info too - you don't need to have both a mouse and a keyboard plugged in. The only hitch was that apparently I needed to disable the laptop's touchpad before the left mouse button would work. (I also rebooted, so maybe the touchpad is irrelevant.) I appreciate the free shipping on ship-to-store, and I got it a day earlier than predicted!
This is good to have around the house when you want to use the keyboard and mouse that you are used to using on your Desktop. Just plug them in, and there you go! I gave two of them as gifts, and they wewe well liked by the giftees. When I get my Laptop I'll have to give one to myself.
I bought 2 like items on ebay and they wouldn't work with my KVM switch but this item that I bought from Walmart works well with my KVM switch
I use this to add a keyboard and mouse to my PS3, and it works all the time, and I have no complaints about it. I got it a little earlier than expected, which was great, and the price was good. I would probably get it again (if I needed it).
I bought this product a few months ago and only just received it a few weeks ago,this is certainly not the fault of Walmart despite the mix-ups and delays that they caused when i at first purchased this item. I bought it for the ease of being able to use ps/2 keyboards and mice with my computers and laptop,without having to reach in the backs to plug them in. A simple usb connector saves me effort. Also with this cable accomodating both the keyboard and mouse,one doesnt need to have 2 ps/2-usb adapters. My biggest consideration,wasnt simply the ease of not having to continually reach in the back of my pc to replug the cables if any got loose,but also since i also bought a laptop for the first time,i would use this to simply plug in an existing mouse r keyboard to the laptop,which allows me to not use the laptop's keyboard and pad. This is a great solution for anyone wanting to convert the old fashion ps/2 to the mainstream usb. Two-in-one makes for a great all-in-one solution.
The price was great and as soon as I plugged the mouse and keyboard into the product and plugged it into my laptop usb port I was good to go! Great product.
